Alessandra's POV: 

Next day

:"Mommy, wake up", the twins woke me up.

"What?" I opened my eyes.

"We're hungry", Giovanna said, her long curly brown hair was in two ponytails, which I did last night.

"Okay, give me a few minutes and I'll go make breakfast for all of us", I told them and they ran out the room.

When we returned from Mc Donald's yesterday, we ate our meal and watched disney movies then I prep the kids for bed and I stayed p until 11 pm watching a movie.

I don't start back to work until Monday and today was Friday, so I have the weekend to figure out where the twins will stay, should I hire a babysitter?

I went to the bathroom, washed out my mouth and washed my face before going downstairs, the kids were in the living room playing with their toys. I was so happy that they were well behaved and didn't cause mischief, I know Alessio and I did.

I went to the kitchen and turned on the coffee maker then got the milk from the refrigerator,  two bowels and spoons and the box of cereal; then I cut up two bananas. 

"Breakfast time", I said and the twins came  into the kitchen, I helped them up by the counter and placed the bowel in front of them and the plate with the slice bananas in between them.

"Grazie mamma", Giovanni said. (Thank you mommy)

"Your welcome son", I smiled as then take out an egg from the refrigerator and place two slices of bread in the toaster.

Five minutes later 

I sat down next to my daughter and we all ate silently, this was a normal thing with us.

"Do you want to go to the beach today?"  I asked when I finish ate.

"Yes!" Giovanni exclaimed.

We were living less than half hour away from Miami beach.

"Good, we'll go later", I said and take their empty bowels to the sink along with my plate and cup.

"Mommy, can we go in the pool?" Giovanna asked.

"Okay honey, in a while let mommy finish do the dishes first", I kissed her forehead as I picked up the plate between them.

She nodded.

I put on floats on both my kids arm before I stepped into the pool the two swim rings, I placed Giovanna in the mermaid pattern one and Giovanni in the shark pattern one. 

They began to giggle and kick their feet to move.

"Mommy, I'm swimming", Giovanni grinned as he started to go more to the center of the pool.

The pool was only five feet deep so I can easily control the twins in the water, I pushed Giovanna more to the center to where her brother was.

They were definitely enjoying themselves.

I smiled and went to one side of the pool and get my waterproof phone to snap a few photos to send to my family.

"Smile guys", I held up the phone and they looked at me.

They gave me their best toothy smile and I took a few photos.

"Nicely done, who ready to practice to swim?" 

"Me!"

"Me!" Giovanna clapped.

"Okay, the youngest goes first", I lifted up Giovanni out of the swim ring and laid him on his stomach just on the surface of the water.

"Remember what grandpa showed you?" 

He nodded and began to kick his feet in the water and move his hands.

For Christmas I'll be buying both of them bikes with training wheels, at age two my brother and I were able to ride a bike with training wheels.

I carried Giovanni around the pool for about five minutes letting him kick up his feet and move his arm then returned him to his swim ring.

I took Giovanna for a swim next around the pool, she laughed as she kicked up her feet in the water.

"This is so much fun mommy."

"Yes it is, but we'll have to come out soon, so you don't catch a cold", I told her.

"Aw", she pouted.

She swam around for five minutes and I placed her back into her swim ring.

"Okay guys, fifteen more minutes then its time to come out", I informed them as I swam around them

Twenty minutes later

I just finished drying off the kids when my phone rang, "hello?" I answered.

"Ms. Ricci, it's Georgia", my boss said.

"Hey, is something wrong?" I frowned.

"No, I'm just calling to check up, do you like the house?"

"Yes, its beautiful, thank you."

"Spacious enough?"

"Yes and the twins love the pool, we actually just came out", I explained.

"That's good, have you start looking for a daycare to send them to?"

"Not yet, I'll start today."

"Well my great niece did stay at Deerwood KinderCare, its a great daycare and I'll recommend it to any parents. They toddler programs all the way up to kindergarten, so after that you can send your kids straight to elementary school."

"I'll check it out then", I replied.

"It's about twenty minutes from where you live and also they can drop off your kids safely back home if you can't make it to pick them up", she added.

"Thank you for the recommendation", I stated.

"No problem dear, I want the best for my employee working close to me, plus I love the little muckins", she admitted.

I laughed, "see you on Monday."

"Yes and don't be late", she hung up.

"Let's get you into a bubble bath and some dry clothing", I led the twins upstairs.

"Who wants to take a drive to see your new daycare starting from Monday?" I asked the twins when they woke up from their afternoon nap.

"Daycare?" Giovanni frowned.

"Yes and you can make new friends too", I smiled.

He continued to frowned while Giovanna was excited.

"New friends", she cheered.

"First let us dress for the beach then we can go", I said and we went into their room together.

I dressed Giovanna first then Giovanni and packed their extra clothes in my big beach bag along with sunscreen. Then I get put their birth paper in the bag as well just in case.

"Andiamo! Andiamo!" GIovanna exclaimed as she ran down the stairs. (Let's go! Let's go!)

"Calm down Giovanna", I chuckled.

I made sure the house was secured before locking the front door behind me.

I unlocked the vehicle and opened the back door and the twins climbed in, I made sure to lock the child lock so they can't accidentally open the door.

I got behind the wheels, shut the door, placed the bag on the seat next to me and put on my seat belt.

"Buckle up guys", I watched them in the rear mirror.

They buckled up and I turned on the engine and reverse out of the driveway.

I turned on the GPS to Deerwood KinderCare, about 25 minutes drive from here.

25 minutes later

I got out of the vehicle then help my kids out, we walked to the entrance of the building, I holding both of my kids' hand. Giovanna was watching curiously at the kids playing while Giovanni remained closer to me.

We entered the building and a woman approached us with a wide smile, "hello, welcome to Deerwood KinderCare, I'm Mrs. Georges the person in charge of the infant and toddler department", she introduced herself.

 "I'm Alessandra Ricci and was recommended to check out this daycare, it's the best from what I heard", I stated.

"It is", she nodded, "and who are these two little cuties?" She swooped down to be eye level with the kids.

"This is Giovanna and Giovanni Ricci", I answered.

"Oh wonderful twins, we haven't got male and female twins in quite some time", she stood up, "do you want me to show you around before doing the paperwork?"

I nodded and she led the way, Giovanni's eyes were on the posters stick up on the bright colored walls.

"This is one of the  infant department", she opened a door revealing a large room where there were a few cribs and babies sleeping in them as a woman sat by the desk.

She waved us.

"Mommy, babies", Giovanna pointed.

"Oh, they talk fluent?" Mrs. Georges asked in surprise.

"Yes and a bit Italian too", I nodded, "but Giovanna is the more talkative one between them both", I laughed.

She nodded and led me to the next room, "and this is the toddler's department", she opened the door and the twins  eyed some of the kids who were playing with toys on the floor.

The kids alll watch Mrs. Georges with a big smile.

"Not all of them can talk as good as your twins, but by the time age three for preschool they will be", she explained.

"You can go and play with the toys", I told the twins and let go of their hands.

Giovanna rushed to the blocks section while Giovanni watched on wearily.

"Go on Gio", I said and he watched me.

He walked slowly to the table where a few toys were laid out.

"I'll keep an eye on them for you", the teacher said and I nodded, the twins were occupied so I left quickly.

"And that's it, see you Monday", Mrs. Georges smiled when I finished sign the papers, "what time?"

"Seven am sharp", I replied.

"Will you be picking them up in the afternoon?"

"Yes, I'll call ahead of time if I can't make it."

She nodded, "one question, are you Italian?"

I nodded, "but since we move to the US permanently, I want them to speak fluent English", I stated.

"That's no problem."

I went back to the room where the twins were, they were sitting on the floor listening to the teacher read to them, Giovanni was actually listening instead of in a corner by himself.

"Mommy!" Giovanna got up and ran to me, her brother followed after.

"See you on Monday", the teacher waved and we left.

"Beach time", I grinned.

35 minutes later

I parked at the side of the road and the beach was right over the sidewalk and there were a lot of people around, plus the weather was hot.

I got out then took the twins out and got my bag, "mommy, beach", Giovanna pointed towards the beach.

"Yes baby", I lifted her up and help Giovanni handed as we walked unto the sand.

I set up our  things and took out the kids' beach toys and laid down on the blanket under the umbrella  while they played in the sand.

I saw a few guys checked me out and a few gave me some looks because of the color of my children's skin.

I looked good for 25 years, I lost all my baby fat earlier this year and returned to my pre-pregnant state. My belly has gone down and my natural curvy shape was back, having guys to run after me, I got plenty of those back in Italy.

My phone rang, it was my brother.

"Ciao fratello", I greeted. (Hello brother)

"Che cosa è what rumor? Sei in spiaggia?" He questioned. (What's that noise? Are you at the beach?)

"Sì, sono con i miei figli", I replied. (Yes I am with my kids)

"I'm happy you're enjoying, have you seen you know who yet?"

"No and I will not want to anytime soon, also I found the perfect daycare for the twins", I added.

"That's great, how excited at they?"

"Giovanna is very excited and GIovanni now starting to come out of his shy state around people", I explained.

"Just like how you were, I was more the bolt twin just like Giovanna is", he chuckled.

"How's Emilia?" I inquired.

"She's good, she misses you and the twins though", he laughed.

"Tell her we missed her too."

"I will, well goodnight I'm going to sleep now", he hung up.

I watched the ocean, "who wants to go swimming?" I asked.

"Me!"

I put on their floats and carried them to the shoreline.
