I woke up the next morning and Quinn was wrapped around me. I can’t remember the last time I actually slept next to someone. When we got home last night I had let her go to her room because I wanted to talk to Paul in private. The comment he made to Quinn in the car about her making money laying on her back was not to be tolerated. I knew he didn’t mean any harm but she was not one of the guys and I wouldn’t allow him to ‘bust her balls’ like that. Especially now that I knew how selfless she was being, doing what she was doing to help her mom. I wouldn’t let anyone talk to her like that, ever.
I looked over at the clock and it was just after seven. I kissed the top of Quinn’s head and then slowly rolled her off of me. We had gone to bed late and I wanted her to be able to sleep
