Olivia
I stopped in front of our house and took a few moments to catch my breath. It was 4:45 as I suspected and I went inside without waiting for Will and Liam.
Dad walked past me and he kissed me on the cheek despite the fact that I was dripping with sweat.
“Bye, honey.”
He greeted as he walked past and I started jogging to my room to try and get done, so we could leave earlier.
I got to my room and headed straight for the shower. I needed to get my body under some water, because the sweat was starting to get sticky.
I got dressed in the clothes I had put aside and I had to admit I looked hot. But then again, Mum says I always do so yeah...
I blow dried my hair and did a fishtail braid over my shoulder with a few lose strands hanging to give it a messy effect.
I put on BB cream and mascara and eyeliner with some lip gloss. My usual make up.
I grabbed my school bag and jogged down stairs. Sitting at the island counter was Will and Liam. I would have thought that he had gone home by now, but he had changed into a pair of navy blue jeans and a Dope s**t hoodie with black and white Nike's.
The hoodie covered his tattoos and took away the Bad Boy aura he had been resonating. It looked as though there was a totally different person sitting in front of me.
I sat down and Mum put a bowl of cereal in front of me. I thanked her and started eating. I did my best not to gag at the fact that there was no sugar in the cereal as I ate.
“So, Olivia, Liam told me that cheer tryouts are actually today, so you're starting school just in time. I will be at your try-outs and remember to take workout clothes.”
Mum informed and I glanced at Will and saw him frowning down into his own bowl of cereal. I coughed when I realized what he was about to do and his eyes snapped up to mine.
I gave him a stern look and he glared back at me, but I didn't back down. He didn't need to start something that would only end in an unsolved disagreement.
“Yes, Mummy. I will go pack some clothes after I've eaten and I'll message Dad to see if he wants to come. I will let you know if my plans change.”
I informed and Mum shook her head.
“Your Dad is going to Japan to seal a business deal. He will only be back on Wednesday, so he won't be able to make it unless they wrap up the business deals fast.”
She stated and I nodded and pushed my empty bowl foreword and got up. I hated when Will wanted to tell Mum that I didn't need to be perfect.
It always ended up with Dad being called out of a conference and having to calm Mum down. It also ended up with me doing another thing I didn't want to do.
I jogged back to my room and grabbed Nike sports equipment and I made my way back down to the kitchen. When I got there Liam was gone and I couldn't have been happier that the invader had left.
“Shall we go?”
I asked cheerily and Will nodded and I kissed Mum on her cheek and followed Will out the house. I could tell that something was bothering him again, but I wasn't going to ask him about it.
When we were safely on the road I felt my phone buzz and as suspected, there was a message from my Dad telling me to enjoy my day. It was routine everyday.
I closed my messages and looked up to see that we were already pulling into the school. The parking lot was practically empty because of the time.
I looked over at Will and he smiled at me to reassure me that everything would be fine. He knew this would be hard for me.
I got out once he parked right in front of the entrance. I knew we would end up having trouble with someone for that spot, but we would deal with them when the time came.
We walked into the school and as suspected the office was right at the entrance. I went in and the lady behind the counter gave me a stink eye but she was practically eye raping Will. I smiled at her despite her hardheartedness and she rolled her eyes at me...
What the hell...
I left all the talking to Will since she seemed more willing to talk to him and I noticed that students were starting to crowd into the school slowly but surely.
Will handed me an envelope and I reluctantly followed him out of the office. It seemed like we were only in there for a few moments. I wasn't paying a lot of attention.
“She said that the school has already put our books in the lockers-its just up to us to get them covered.”
Will stated and I nodded in reply. The school was starting to fill up and I realized that we must've been there for longer that I expected.
I opened the envelope and found a map of the school, locker keys and my timetable.
I took a look and as suspected, my Mum had put me in advanced classes despite the fact that I told her I wasn't that smart. It would just mean that I would need to study more.
I sighed as I realized I only had music twice a week. At least I would be able to practice properly, before the teacher evaluated me.
Will seemed to be leading the way to where we needed to go and I was grateful for that. Map reading was not one of my strong points.
We stopped in front of some notice board and Will started signing up for all the things he usually participated in-which was basically just football.
I looked at the board and notice that this school had an endless amount if activities... There was literally something for every hour and it scared me since my Mum would phone up the school if I didn't sign up for enough things.
Will handed me a pen and I started writing my name on all the things I did at my old school and a few extra things that wouldn't take too much of my time. I could see the sympathy in Wills' eyes as he watched me write my name countless times.
I took out my phone once I was done and started taking pictures of the board. I put my phone away and we started making our way to the lockers.
“So, well meet at our lockers when its lunch?”
Will asked and I sighed as I shook my head and he frowned.
“I need to go to the library and get everything scheduled into my diary. That way Mum will be able to see I have no time for anything else.”
“But can't you do that in the cafeteria?”
He raised his eyebrow and we stopped in front of our lockers. It was obvious that the lockers hadn't been used before.
I sighed as I realized that Will wasn't going to drop the subject. Why did he have to be such a stubborn arse?
“Fine. We'll see each other when its lunch. Okay?”
Will fist bumped the air and I laughed. He was so childish... but I loved him.
I felt a hand clasp around my shoulder and I was swung around.
Standing in front of me was... um... a half naked... um... girl? If she could even be called that.
She wore a skimpy red skirt and a white crop top that oddly resembled a bra. Her bottle blond hair was getting dark roots and her eyes were blue. She was wearing heels that made her remind me of my Mum.
“So you're the w***e who parked in my space?”
She asked and I cringed when I heard her voice. She had this high pitched voice that reminded me of someone strangling a cat.
“Whatever. Just don't let it happen again. Understood?”
I raised my eyebrow at her and handed my bag to Will. He knew I didn't take kindly to people like her who thought they ruled the school. Even I wasn't like that.
“Listen... what was your name again?”
I asked politely.
“Leila.”
She answered as if it had some important meaning.
“Well... Leila... I hate to tell you that I'm not the one who parked in your space. But I also want to tell you that you don't own the school. The parking space does not have your name on it so drop it and leave me alone. I am not scared of your shoes or your skirt or the way you look at me.”
I flashed her a polite smile and turned my attention to my locker again. I heard her huff and her heels clacked violently against the floor.
I heard Will break out with a violent laugh and I smiled as I opened my locker. Maybe I was too harsh...
Nah...
