Chapter 11 Half an hour later, I stood in front of the glass basement door, peering out at the sloping backyard. I was buck n***d and shivering, only my amulet separating me from complete nudity. Still, my wolf refused to emerge. She was there in my belly. There in my throat. Her fur tried to press up through my skin...then I was slapped back into humanity.
