Mason POV I was lost in thought after Heather was dropped off at her home. Gerry had the good sense not to say a word, he raised the divider to give me my privacy and, in some small way, I wanted him to keep it down like he had for Heather and Morgan. That little twirp, laughed all the way home, sending barbs at me and letting Heather know that the whole house would know about the incident the moment they got home. I felt for Heather. She would most likely be made fun of, or make fun of me, and she would have to accept all the barbs.
