I showered and put on the skirt and the blouse mum had laid on the bed for me, not sure if she purchased it, or if it was one of her old ones, that had sat in the closet for years waiting for the right moment to wear it.
Mum was not a person to wear her clothes going out too many times, so if this is one of hers, then it may have only been worn once, or not worn at all. She may have brought it for some event and then something happened, and the outfit sat unused in the closet. Mum has a lot of clothes, and it is lucky we are of similar build. Although I am about two inches taller, that did not matter with the long dress, as mum would have worn high heels, which I like almost flat shoes.
Guess today was a day to take the clothes out of the closet, and it fitted me well. I di
