I woke up in Alex’s arms. I don’t think I have slept that well in two years since the first photograph was sent to me from my stalker. It was not just the night pills that Larson gave me, it was the unequivocal rest I had in Alex’s arms. I ran my fingers slowly over his chest circling the lines of his muscles with pleasure. He was already awake. How long he had been there just holding me while I slept, I have no idea.   “I like that.” He said mimicking the same circles over my shoulder.  I looked at the bedside table where there was a loaded gun resting on the wood. The sight of it brought everything back from the night before. What was I thinking sleeping with my bodyguard? He was supposed to be protecting me from a psycho that managed to break into the master bedroom last night! Not me
