Nothing in those moments could calm me down! Just when I was happy that we were not only able to rescue my little mate but also neutralize a major threat to Kaarmanet, she collapsed. Her face was white as a sheet and I could barely hear her heart beating. I rushed to her side, catching her before she fell to the ground, but that didn't seem to help her in any way.
