Vanishing Maiden

I step out of the room and close the door
“I know I saw her enter that very room. How in the world did she vanish all of a sudden.”
“This institution keeps getting weirder and weirder”
“I should definitely ask Elena on how many races are there and what are there capable off” I said to myself
“So did you find her?” the twins ask
“Yeah, but the moment she entered a room she vanishes”
“Are there races that can teleport or become invisible or something” I frustratedly ask
“There are few why?” Darryl Lyn unsurely said
I just look at them while thinking about the possibilities
Back downstairs Alice and Draco are at a stalemate. They are just looking at each other waiting for the first one to make a move. Margaret stands up and approach Alice
“You can step back for a while. I think Sr. Draco knows he’s missed match”
“The fact that his sealing didn’t work proves that I am more powerful than him”
“Isn’t that right Sr. Draco” Margaret calmly said
Draco was just standing there hopelessly staring at Margaret’s unwavering eyes
“Now good Sir. Why do you want to bring Ramon inside the prefectural torture room?” Margaret seriously ask then her gate rose from the ground
Draco starts to sweat heavily. It seems he’s intimidated
“Speak up!” Margaret threatens
“I’m just following orders!” Draco said
“Who’s your master?” Margaret pissedly said

Her gate opens then two tendrils burst out and are heading directly at Draco
“Oh dear, oh dear. What a huge mess you kids made” A living shadow said as he quickly restrains Alice
“Looks like we need a new prefect too. Marcus is not cut out for the job” a vampire said
“Don’t be so rough on him”
“He did stop several attacks along side with the rest of the Trinity if you’ve already forgotten” a siren said
“Come to think of it, where are the other two? Why are you handling all these by yourself”
“You know these kids could be such a handful once their limiters are removed” the vampire said
“Sorry Sir, but there are some issues at the moment. De Villa and Maccapuno couldn’t come over” Draco submissively said
“What the hell happened to you? A spirit arts user your caliber couldn’t handle these brats?”
“Have you gotten soft or something?”
“They don’t call you Phoenix for nothing right?” the vampire mocked
“Sorry Sir” Draco apologizes|
“That’s enough Vandalir” the siren upsetly said
“Looks like some people just arrive” someone said as he walks out the prefecture’s office
“You’re here early? The living shadow teased as he saw Procyon steps out of the room
“I should have known!” Margaret raised her voice
At a blink of an eye, Procyon teleported in front of Margaret and grab her the neck
“Shss! Girls like you should be punished” He said with a pissed look in his face
Then Procyon’s face changes the moment he sees the mark of Margaret’s head. He gently let's go then said
“Ohh look at the time, it’s almost ten. Board meeting is about to start”
“Don’t want the headmistress to wait for us” what a sudden change in character
At a blink of an eye he rallies the three newly arrive and drag them to the elevator
“Why are there just three off you? Where’s Herlina?”
“Doesn’t matter she must be waiting in the conference hall at the moment”
“She’s the early bird after all” Procyon talking to himself
They all enter the elevator and Vandalir leave a few instructions
“Clean this place up” Vandalir said before the elevator door closes
Margaret was shocked and she’s currently holding her neck as she breathes heavily. Alice’s right hand is somewhat fractured because of the living’s shadow’s grasp. Draco’s wings won’t stop bleeding
“Let’s call it a day Master. Mommy isn’t on her best state to settle the score”
“Plus you need to go to the nurse’s office and get that wound of yours tend to” Alice said as she helps Maragaret to stand up
“Okay Ms. Runefela”
“Let’s call this a day” Draco said then he quickly went to the nurse’s office
“Let’s go Mommy” Alice said as she hoist up Margaret then went to the opposite direction
Back upstairs, Gyson and Alexandra have finally awakened and they seem to have a terrible headache. Their memories are a bit fuzzy cause they can’t remember a thing. The last thing they remember is back when we are conversing outside. That’s a serious mind blocking curse to think even the latter memories have been corrupted. I should really need to capture that spell caster quickly before she becomes a much bigger threat.
“Hey Ramon!” Darryl Lyn said
“Yes!” I quickly reacted
“We should bring them to the infirmary to get check out”
“The nurse might know something to ease their confusion” Darryl Lyn said
I assisted Gyson to stand up but he was too heavy so I asked a random student to assist us downstairs. The twins assisted Alexandra to stand up and we went on our way. I notice that their headache is getting much worse. We increase the pace and arrive at the nurse’s office. Draco was inside with a pissed look in his face as we enter
“We need help!” I shouted as we barge in
“What happened to them!” Draco shouted at me then shove me away
He quickly summons his gate and asks the nurse for a scalpel. He slices his palm and drops blood on Alexandra and Gyson’s foreheads and he starts chanting. Two phoenixes came out of the gate and sat on their foreheads. The mythical bird turns into an egg and Draco finally loosens up a bit. I can clearly see the relieve look in his face
He stare daggers at me and shoutly ask
“Who did this?”
“Did what?” I shakingly said
“Who would do such a thing to put a curse like that”
“They were lucky to be brought here before the spell was fully activates”
“Tell me who! … did … this!?” Draco said and he seems pissed. He clenches my uniform and slams me to the wall.
The student tagging along with us quickly quivers in fear but I don’t blame him. He just wants to stay away from this mess. The twins hold both of his arms then pulls it away but they won't budge
“Hayz for someone that earned the title phoenix you surely have a bad temper and anger issues”
“Those mythical birds are know for them timid nature and you Sir is the exact opposite” the nurse said then she injects something on Draco’s shoulder
“Don’t worry, that's just a depressant drug I invented. It has no side effects or so whatever it will just make you drowsy.”
“Oh look it starts to take effect now. That was faster than I expected” She cheerfully said
Draco’s grip starts to loosen up and his eyes can’t even open up anymore. The twins lowered down his arm and assisted him to sit on the bench. Several seconds later he finally doze off
“How long will he be out?” I ask
“Maybe around one to two hours”
“Dragons do have high tolerance over several concoctions” the nurse said
“You three, go now. I’ll handle everything from here”
“You should all head back to class” the nurse said
“After what happened I doubt there will be formal classes today” Cherry Lyn said
“Believe me or not. Attacks like those are common in Mythingale University”
“That’s why the top spirit arts users are the ones that guarding the university”
“If I am going to rate that attack I’ll give it a three out of five. The board did come to stop the little lady. Even Sir Vermillion stepped in” the nurse said
“What! So you mean that there are much worse attacks than that? Wow!” I reacted
“Yes, and it only happened last year but it’s confidential so listen carefully I am not going to repeat myself okay”
“And please don’t tell anyone that I’ve told you this, okay?” the nurse begged
“Not so long ago, a transfer student from a foreign school started to come here”
“Since then different high class curses were spread all over campus.”
“The student council led by Farah Utopia begun their search who the source is and it lead to a gruesome discovery”
“The transfer student is the one that is casting all of those curses”
“The board together with the Trinity they apprehended. Since then no one got sick and no one ever heard a word about her. As if she completely vanish her records are cannot be seen” the nurse said
“What’s her name?”
“Where did she go after the incident?” I curiously ask
She went to the shelf and grabbed something from the top. She gives it a quick pat to get rid of the dust then hands it over to me. It was a photo of the girl I saw earlier
