“Uhmmm let me think” Emilia said as she taps her chin
“Ah how about you back out the election and leave this school” Emilia eagerly said
“What?” I reacted
“You heard me!”
“As long as you’re here the board will become so powerful to the point that they will dethrone the headmistress from her position”
“Are you aware that the person you are dealing with now is the Demon Lord himself” Emilia said
“I’m aware” I said to rudely interrupt her
“So you know but why on earth are you still meddling with him”
“You should just get the hell out of here and crawl back to your mother’s hole” Emilia pissedly said
I was greatly offended and got pissed
“I thought you knew everything about this campus looks like you forgot one”
“I am here because I’m looking for my mother who left us just to live in this messed up town” I shouted then tears started to pour out my eyes. I wipe my tears away and the moment I look back she’s got and everything is back to normal
“Ramon! Ramon!” the twins said as they shake me
“Huh? What?” I reacted
“What’s the matter? Why are you crying?” The twins concernly ask
“Looks like she got away once again. The next time we meet I’ll make her pay” A thought inside my head as I clench my fist in anger
“Here take it”
“I’m not hungry” I said as I slide the lunchbox towards them
“Say Ramon? Is there something bothering you?”
“You were spacing out earlier then you started crying all of a sudden”
“Please tell us so we can resolve the issue together” Darryl Lyn said
“Nah I’m good, just remember a sad memory that's all” I said
I stand up then went to the restroom
“f**k that ghost toying me around” I said in a slightly pissed manner
I entered the restroom and I felt the same cold feeling from earlier
“What is it you want this time” I said as I barge in
I saw her sitting on the sink with a daring pose
“Loosen up a bit will you”
“But what I said earlier is not a request it’s a demand”
“If you don’t obey me I will make sure everyone on campus will feel my wrath, okay” She said then pucks her lips
She stands up and fix her skirt
“By the way I am giving you until tomorrow before the election starts”
“If I saw you on campus then sorry I don’t know what might happen to these innocent people”
“Oh! I almost forgot. The curse is already casted and the only thing that will trigger it is your presence on school ground as soon as the headmistress starts announcing your names. I wish you best of luck okay”
“Bye bye” She said then disappears
“Can you move a side please you’re in the way” someone said behind me
I turn around and there is a line behind me that looks like I clog the entrance. I stepped aside then said sorry. Out of embarrassment I went to the classroom. Strangely, my classmates should be around here but I think everyone is too scared right now because of that incident. I walked closer to the room and started noticing something, some tables and charges were untidy as if some fight happened. I quickly entered the room and saw a devil weeping on the teacher’s table. I took a deep as I approach her
“Are you alright?” I shakingly ask as I reach for her shoulder
I don’t know why but my hand can’t move any closer as if a barrier of some sort which is invisible to my eyes
“Oh dear, Oh dear how on earth did you get here?”
“I am sure that there is no one around here the time I put up the barrier up” She said as she steps out the corner
“Who are you? And what do you want with her?” I shouted
“Calm down I’m just here to contain her”
“What you are seeing is the manifestation of a savage”
“Now how on earth did you get past my barrier? Or maybe my sensory magic is whack again. I should really get this check” She said
“You didn’t answer my question” I raised my voice at her
“My goodness. What happened to this institution?”
“Say Ramon ever heard of the chain of command. It seems you didn’t check the student’s handbook”
“Well you should get going now before she goes out of control. You’ll be just in the way” She said
“If you don’t mind me asking who is she by the way” I politely ask because I got the feeling she’s a very important person
“Sure but promise me you’ll leave as soon as I tell you” She said
“Yeah sure” I eagerly said
“Well she’s your teacher” She cheerfully said
“Now scram” She raised her voice at me as she points out the doorway
I slowly walk outside while looking back to see a last glance
“I know we’ve brought them to the nurse’s office but how on the world did she manage to get out unless” I said to myself then something popped out of my mind which made me ran towards the nurse’s office
I was close but the invisible barrier from earlier stopped me once again. I tried slamming it several times but it won't budge
I start to lose hope then suddenly this chilly feeling occur to me
“How about I let you enter”
“Just obey my rules” A familiar female voice said beside me
I quickly look aside but she’s not there when I look back at the barrier I saw her on the opposite side.
“So? Are you coming?” She politely ask with a cheerful look on her face
“Nah I’ll pass” I stubbornly said as I turn my back and walk away at her
“She’s one persistent lady”
“Is Procyon really that bad of a person that she wants to ruin his plans. He looks like a decent guy basing from his actions” I said to myself
“So that’s what you’re thinking” Emilia said as she walks beside me with a down face
“Cheer up will you not everything is going to abid your rules especially those worthless ones”
“Like I said I won’t leave campus even if everyone’s life is on the line. I don’t care about them really”
“I came here not to make friends or anything. I just want to find my mother, that's all and it’s you know. I don’t have a clue or anything to begin with what I only have is her image in my mind” I said
“What if the person you’re looking for is already dead?” She ask
“I’ll be hurt of course but what can I do? But I would love to see her grave and offer her prayers. Maybe that is enough to satisfy this lonely feeling I have” I said
“You’re a good son you know that but are you seriously going to risk everyone’s life just for the sake of seeing your mother”
“You know that she has long forgotten about you, right?”
“If she remembers you she will definitely let you know what she’s up to but it seems you haven’t heard a news of her for a long time. Am I right?” She said
“Just shut the f**k up please. You’re not helping” I shouted
“Okay, okay chill dude”
“By the way I’ll start running if I were you”
“You’re so-called friends are in danger as of the moment. Well see yeah!” Emilia said then vanishes
As fast as I could I ran towards the cafeteria but it turns out it was just a fluke
“That b***h!” I shouted grabbing everyone's attention
I step out of the room with a pissed look on my face. I think I am done for today so I decided to head back to the boarding house. It’s only half of the day yet I am so irritated. I better take the rest of the day to unwind and loosen up a bit.
In my floor’s hallway I see numerous boxes that look like someone is moving in or out, I wonder who could that be? I walk slowly and take a peek but no one seems to be around so I walk straight to my door then suddenly the third door opened hitting my arm and it kinda stings a little
“Sorry, I so sorry” An elegant lady immediately apologize as she steps out the room
I don’t know why but I remember that face from somewhere but I can’t recall it properly maybe because I’m too worn out to think clearly.
I smiled at her then take my leave
“What are you doing here?” I said as I saw Procyon sitting on my couch
“I think we need to discuss something” He seriously said
