Newly Elected Officers

After my speech the crowd was awfully silent and their faces can’t be painted
“So this is what it feels like when people aren’t on the same page as you” I said as I start to lose hope
Then someone within the crowd shouted “We support you!”. I tried looking everywhere but I didn’t find her. Then another one shouted from the opposite side and so on and so forth making a chain reaction of supportive individuals. I raised both of my hands and orchestrated them to stop and they did stop.
“This is it, may Emre bless me and my party” I prayed as I looked up. The heavens are shining their light on to me or it is just the spot light
“May I have everyone’s attention please”
“As you can see I am standing here alone, what do you expect I did run for president independently”
“I gave it some thought earlier. I ask myself if I could really handle everything by myself and I realize something. I realize that no man is an island. I can’t lead on my own I need someone to back me up, I need someone to think with me, to lead with me, and to reform this institution with me”
“Ladies and Gentlemen, my fellow students, and to you Madam. May I present to you my student council committee starting with my treasurer and auditor. The Agramon twins”
“Please head up stage and introduce yourselves” I announced
“Oh the daughters of Lord Agramon himself”
“Interesting” Procyon said
The twins made a short introduction about themselves and even gave a short speech
“Believe me or not guys those two are hell la serious when it comes to budgeting money. So I guarantee you the money for the event will be budgeted properly”
“In addition to that because I am sure about the twins capabilities I will even post the monthly budget and how it is disseminated just for transparency” I announce
“Thanks guys” I said to them as I gave them a hug
“Next on my list is the secretary”
“She’s a feisty one so better not get involved with her if you know what’s best for you”
“Between you and me guys I’ve seen her went head to head with our prefect. Please don’t anyone I said that okay Sir Draco would definitely kill me” I teased to grab the crowd's attention
“May I present to you the student council’s spirit guard Alice Runefela”
“Please head up stage and introduce yourself to them” I announced
It took her several minutes but hey at least she accepted my offer
“I am not doing this for your sake okay, Mother only talk me into this” She said to me
She took the spot at the podium and started her brief introduction about her. She is stuttering a bit maybe because she’s a bit shy. She did manage to get herself together and to pull it. As soon as she’s done she quickly ran towards the twins
“Now the final member of my committee”
“May I present to you my vice president, Margaret De Villa”
“ Please head up stage and introduce yourself” I announced
“You don’t have to remind me Ramon” She said as she walks up the staircase
She raises her hand and looks me in the eyes. She is asking me to toss over the mic to her so I did
“Listen up you low tier clans”
“Starting tomorrow there will be a huge change in clan rankings. Everyone’s status will be revert back to zero so starting tomorrow we are equals”
“Next as you heard Ramon earlier we want an environment where different races can become one. No hate, no fighting, just love and respect. That’s all we are asking”
“Now back to the task on hand. Points will be given every end of the month and instead of clan ranking or team effort it will become individual points like the entrance exam”
“The faster you complete a task the more points you can accumulate, the more points you have the higher your ranking is. Each year level has a different system to avoid any mishaps and to keep the event on equal footing”
“Lastly I know some of you are against these changes but believe us it is much worth it compared to the ranking we have today. It is unfair for small clan to compete to against well establish ones making it super biased”
“How about we still put the clan ranking but we will still revert all points back to zero to have a fresh start. Let’s add all individual members divided by the total number of the clan to get the average. Sounds fair right?” She said
She then looks at me and tosses the microphone back.
“Well you heard her, I don’t have much a say on that”
“Regardless of what we just said one thing is for sure, if you don’t help us out everything will be pointless”
“That’s all and have a great day ahead” I said
After we are all done talking Clara steps in and continues the program. We all fall in line facing the student council member that we are going to replace. Clara then says something and we need to repeat it. Looks like a vow or something. After that’s done the headmistress heads to the podium and delivers the final remarks and her closing speech. Everyone gave her a round of applause as soon as she finished her speech. Clara then requested for the students to calm down and the staves escorted them out of the auditorium
“Goodluck in leading us”
“This is Katarina the student council president signing off” Katarina said then she gives me a hug
“Thanks Kat” I whispered to her ear as I hug her back
“Thank you too everyone”
“Without your help I wouldn’t be elected as the new president”
“All your effort didn’t went into waste” I said as I spread my arms wider
“What are you waiting for? Group hug!” I said as I rushed towards them
“Wait for us! We want hugs too” The twins said
“Aren’t you going to join them?” Alice ask Margaret
“I think I’ll pass” She replied
“Looks like someone is being all sour!” I teased
“You know what to do guys!” I said
We all scrathered and surround Margaret and on the count of three we all lounge to her but she flew out of the way
“Marg you cheater!” I said
“Sorry to interrupt you you all but we do need to clean the venue then close it”
I hope you understand SIr” a staff said
“Well guys you heard him”
“Let’s all head back to class” I said
“Class? What do you mean class?”
“Here at Mythingale University after the transfer ceremony students are free to do whatever they like” the former auditor said
“And besides we prepare a little party back at the student council’s lounge” the auditor said
“So what are we waiting for, let's go!” I eagerly said
We all exited at the front door the same as where the students excited and turns out Vermillion, Teodosia, and Thalia were all waiting for us
“Took you long enough” Vermillion said then he toss me something it is a small box
“What’s this?” I ask as I shake the box but I can’t hear anything
“Open it and I’ll show you” Vermillion said
“What’s the hold up!”
“Yeah?” the twins said I
“Well I just receive a gift from Vermillion and he wants me to open it” I said
“Be careful Ramon there might be a bomb inside” Cherry Lyn teased
We all giggled a bit
“Go on open it already” Cherry Lyn said
I tore the wrapper apart and the looks on their faces were shocked upon seeing the logo of the box. When I open it I saw a key
“Let’s go” He said then he went on his way
Everyone looks super excited. Vermillion brought us to the parking lot then pulled the sheet of a stunning new car.
“Go on test it” Vermillion eagerly said
“Dude I would love too but I don’t know how to drive” I apologized
“Boomer! Oh well, this car now belong to you Ramon”
“The paper are all inside”
“Okay I am off” Vermillion said
“Wait Vermillion. Classes are over right? How about you party with us?”
“The student council is throwing a party for us”
“Same to you two. Join us” I invited them
“Sure dude, thanks for inviting us” Vermillion appreciatively said
“What are we waiting for? Let's go!” Katarina shouted
“Last one there will clean the room after!” the former vice president said
We partied hard that day and most of us were too tired and drunk to go home so we rested in the student council lounge. I don’t know what time it is but when I looked out the window it was still dark. I look around a bit and it looks like someone got up early and left but I can’t tell who exactly. Then I heard someone talking outside and they were arguing
