FIONA'S POV: The first thing I noticed once my eyes flipped open was the absence of pain. Since the poisoning, unconsciousness had been akin to bliss because every single time my eyes flipped open, an overwhelming sense of pain racked through my body and never failed to make me quiver in my spot.
