“Someone has passed our border. We have to go to the training center.” I said as I sat up.
“Why?” Alastair asked.
“Because of the attack that happened the day I was born. Now anytime the border is breached, everyone goes to the training center until we find the person.” I said. Alexei grabbed my hand and pulled me against him.
“We can just stay here. You’re safe with us.” He said.
“No, I can’t. I have to go out there with the warriors.” I said. Alastair looked at me confused and shook his head.
