Alastair POV
“Wow man, these are nice lands,” Klaus said as we pulled up to my pack house.
“What’s your packs name?” Alexei asked as he looked out the window.
“Red River,” I said.
“Why’s it called that?” Klaus asked. That’s when I pointed to the river that circles the pack grounds. All the rocks under the water are red, which gives the river a red tint. Hence the name Red river.
“Oh, that makes sense,” Klaus said.
We climbed out of the vehicle and were greeted by my parents.
“Ohhh! I see you brought our Luna! It’s about time!” My mother squealed as she ran past me and wrapped April up in a tight hug.
I felt April's awkwardness through the bond and smiled.
“Mom let her be. We just got here.” I chuckled. Mom pulled herself back and smiled.
