April POV
“Have you talked to him since we let him out?” Mom asked and I shook my head. Klaus has been let out for 3 weeks and he refuses to leave the kingdom. His father has already left and Adalyn is still chillin like a villain in the dungeon. We haven’t talked much since that day I went to see him and completely attacked him with my lips.
“No.” I kept my replies short to hide the fact that I was still hurting and unable to forgive him.
“He comes by every day looking for you.” Mom said and I scoffed.
“He comes by and asks for me. He doesn’t look.” I said as I rolled my eyes.
“He’d be able to find you if you’d stop hiding away from him.” She said as she flipped through one of the books Viktor left her.
