"What did you do, Mallery?" My mother's tear stained face is so close, her heartbroken voice making my heart clench. "I didn't do anything," I shake my head, holding my pink giraffe in my hands. It's broken, like my heart as my mother yells at me. "What have you done?" She cries, my father pacing behind her. "Mommy, I didn't do anything." My chin wobbles as I stare at her, slowly fading as she fades into nothing. Her shape vanishes first, her eyes remaining before they vanish too. "Mom?" I yell,clearing my throat as I glance around the empty room. My dad is gone too, but I didn't notice him leave. "Dad? Where's mom?" I inch forward, looking down at my empty hands.
