Her bracelet glows as her eyes roll back and her head rolls to the side as she falls unconscious. "f**k," I grab her face, "Mal," I tilt her head up, but once I let go again, it falls to the side. Her perfect lips are parted and her chest rises and falls in a steady rhythm, and knowing that she's breathing makes me calm down. "Come on Mal, you have to wake up." my heart is pounding in my ears.
