My Second Chance Part 2 Chapter 1 Monica I was walking through the forest when I caught sight of an unconscious body. I quickly ran to his side and noticed that he was a wolf, an Alpha wolf and boy was he sexy. My mouth was practically watering at the site of him. "Hey wake up!" I said and shook him. I felt for a pulse there wasn't one. I can't let this fine man die. I said a spell and we were in my bedroom. I quickly went and got the materials that I needed. After everything was ready I did the spell and his eyes shot open but closed again. I knew that he would be unconscious for a while, it's the way that the spell works. He needs to connect his body and spirit together before he wakes back up. All I can do is make sure that he is comfortable and wait. Months later I woke up and looked around, I was in a dark room with the curtains drawn. There was a beautiful woman sitting beside me but she didn't compare to the girl in the dream I had. That girl was like an angel. "Hey you're awake." I just looked at her. Who the hell is this woman? "Where am I?" He asked. Good, he doesn't remember anything. This is going to be easier than I thought. I can make him believe that he's my mate and finally my mom will step down and let me take her position as one of the witch's elders, then nothing will stop me. "You were attacked. I saved you, you don't remember any of it?" He shook his head. The spell makes you disoriented when you wake up. It will take about three or four months for him to get all of his memories back and fully recover, by then I'll already be his. "Do you know your name?" "Yes my name is Ace and I'm an Alpha wolf. Why am I not at my pack? Do you know which one I belong to?" "No but I'll help you find out." That's not all that I'll be doing. Anna "My answer is yes." I still remember that day, the day my life went to hell. I've convinced Liam that we should wait until our wedding night to mate and he agreed. I hate him so much, the wedding is set for two months from now. I wish I could run away but he has two guards with me at all times. "Hey John." I said while walking towards the cell. Yes that liar still has my brother locked up. "Hey baby sister, how are you feeling?" I sighed. "I'm tired I just want my mate." I said with tears. "I wish he would just let you out but I have to wait until we mate, that will be in two months." "WHAT!" He roared. I jumped back I never saw him so mad. "I told you not to do that Anna, god do you ever listen?" "I had no choice John. If I didn't he would have taken the baby away from me and I won't let that happen." He ran his hands through his hair, it had grown a couple of inches. "I'm sorry Anna. I shouldn't have gotten upset with you. I wish you didn't have to go through this you deserve better." I wished that I could hug him, he's the best brother on the planet. If I get him out then this will be all worth it. "It's OK John, I'll be down tomorrow and with your nephew." He immediately cheered up he loves his nephew. Monica It's been two months since he's been up and about and everyone here loves him. All the women are over him all the time I need to teach those bitches a lesson, he's mine. I know that he has a mate, I read his mind. He won't be seeing her again. I put a spell on that part of his memory. I was brought out of my thoughts when he kissed down my neck. "Hey babe missed me?" He asked with a smirk. "Yes you know I can't go long without seeing you." He growled and kissed me, I loved when he did that. "Show me how much you've missed me." He said in a seductive voice and boy did I show him that, all night. I cant believe that my plan is working I should have my moms position in no time. Ace It's been two months since I woke up. Monica has been great, I love that girl. After we made love she fell asleep in my arms. I woke up out of my sleep. I keep having dreams about the same girl, she's beautiful. In the dream we are in a beautiful field. I'm chasing her around and she's smiling. I finally catch her and she tells me that she loves me and I tell her that I love her as well and promises her that I will never leave her. After that we hear a growl and big gray wolf comes out, he doesn't give me time to shift. I stand in front of the girl protecting her and he attacks and bites down on my neck, that's when the dream ends. I don't know who the wolf is but the girl is scared and I can never kill him. "Hey baby what are you doing up?" She asked from behind me. "Couldn't sleep, come lets watch a movie." I sat there not really paying attention, my thoughts keep drifting to the dream. I'll ask Monica's mom about it when I get time. Anna This is it, I thought to myself. I was standing in the mirror taking off my makeup. Me and Liam had just gotten married. I had to put on a brave face the whole time, if Liam saw me sulking he would threaten me and I would have to act happy. During the whole reception I had hold myself back, all I could think about was stabbing him with my knife. We had a daytime wedding in the back yard. From other people's view we looked like a happy couple. "GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE ANNA!" He yelled while banging on the door. I took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves. Liam made me wear this horrid lingerie, it felt like straps. I opened the door and he was standing in front of the bed. "Damn Anna you look hot." He said while kissing me. He lifted me and carried me bridal style to the bed. "I've been waiting for this for a long time." He entered me I was praying for a miracle, that Ace would burst in the room and save me but that never happened. I knew he was about to mark me and there was nothing that I could do, after Ace died my mark disappeared. He bit down and I whimpered. "Shh baby it's OK." I turned over feeling disgusted. If I didn't have my baby to live for I don't know what I would have done. I stared at the wall crying until I fell asleep. Ace I was at Monica's mom house, we were having dinner when a pain shot through my neck. I fell to the floor groaning and all of my memories came back. Anna, my baby, the pack and Liam! That piece of s**t marked MY MATE I was seeing red. I tried to control myself but my wolf was taking over. "Ace honey are you OK?" Asked Mrs. Duncan. "YOU!" I roared at Monica her face paled. "Whats going on?" Mrs. Duncan asked again. "Your daughter knew I had Mate. She knows I have a pack and baby on the way when she found me. She promised to help me find them." I was shaking by then. "Ace please." Monica begged. I had her by the throat. I didn't want to hear s**t that she had to say, because of her my mate was marked by another wolf. Words couldn't describe how mad I was. I was close to shifting. "You did what?" Her mom yelled. "Ace let her go honey" I let her go and she fell to the floor. I may have hated Monica but I respected her mother. "Explain yourself. You know that mates are important, how could you do that? I taught you better than that." "The only way that I could have your position is if I found my mate so I used Ace to get it. I love him." I wanted to kill her. "Ace don't worry she will be punished." She said a spell and we were at the witches council. I almost fell over from being transported, hell I didn't even know that transporting was a real thing. "I'm here because my daughter used this young man. She was greedy and wanted my position for power, I came to discuss her punishment." She walked over to four other witches, they discussed something for a few before turning to us. "Monica you have messed with the fates by taking him from his mate and using your powers for wrong doings. You are the daughter of an elder so you knew it was wrong and you knew the consequences. We're stripping you of your powers." They chanted something and a white light flew from Monica to them. "Now leave my sight child. As for you young man, we are sorry for what she did. We will send you back home. We can't go back in time but if you ever need a favor let us know, we at least owe you that but remember you can't use that favor to kill or cause trouble." I nodded and thanked them. Don't worry Anna I'm coming and this time he's a dead man.
