Serenity

“Crap.” My stomach dropped. I looked at Keira, she was trying to apologize but I wasn't going to stick around to hear it, Damon was going to kill me. I turn and ran. Damien called my name but was to drunk to catch me. I went out back and threw up in the trash can.

I held my stomach I felt sick. The back door flew open and Damon stood there with black eyes breathing hard. I stood up and ran the opposite way.

“Serenity!” He roared. I looked around there was no where to hide. I heard footsteps but I didn't turn around. I'm not dumb, I knew as soon as I turned around I would run into something or trip from not paying attention.

“Serenity stop running you wont get away.” He was right, I was tired my legs were hurting and I couldn't shift. I wasn't going to get away so I stopped running. I tried to catch my breath his intimidating stare made me cower back.

Damon

I was watching her, I had to admit she looked good. I growled when I saw her dancing, no one touches my mate she was mine. I had to control my wolf I couldn't risk letting people know that she was my mate. Sure she's hot now but any other day she's a complete mess.

I turned my head when some girl sat on my lap, we was making out when I heard my sister's voice then I heard a girl disrespecting her, no one disrespects my baby sister. I looked down and saw a figure laying on the ground everything went quiet when my sister said that Serenity was pregnant. I couldn't control the growl this time.

I saw Serenity get up. Her eyes widened and the next thing I knew she took off running. Keira was trying to apologize but she was already running. I turned to the girl that Keira punched. “I'll deal with you later.”

When I got to the door she looked up and ran, didn't she know that running from your mate only provokes the wolf.

“Serenity!” I roared she was fast but I was faster. When I caught up to her she was breathing hard. I guess being pregnant and running took a toll on her body.

Serenity

“Explain.” He stood there with his arms crossed.

“I didn't mean for this to happen. I didn't know, Damien told me that I was pregnant. I just found out a couple of hours ago.” He didn't say anything that's what scared me the most. He dragged me to his car, we drove to the apartment as soon as we got in the apartment he exploded.

“How the hell did this happen? You planned this didn't you?”

“No I-”

“Shut up just shut up. Well I'll tell you now it won't work... Leave.”

“What? Damien said that I cou-”

“No I mean leave this area leave this state!”

“But I don't have anywhere to go, what about the baby? I can't raise him or her alone.”

“You should have thought about that before you got pregnant.” His eyes inked black.

“I Prince Damon Tucker Jr give Serenity Mayors a Royal Alpha order to stay away from my Kingdom and all surrounding packs in this area.”

“No Damon please don't do this you’re my mate you're suppo-”

“Enough!” He yelled. “You're pathetic, you're lucky I didn't give you an order not to join any packs. I'm being nice because you're my mate. Get your things I'll drive you to the border. What you do after that is your business and don't try to contact my family.”

I looked at him, surely he was playing some cruel joke. But when I looked in his eyes I saw nothing but hate and disgust. Wasn't his wolf supposed to stop him?

My wolf whimpered No his wolf feels the same.

“You know what fine, you want me gone then I’m gone. One day you're going to look back on this and realize you made the biggest mistake of your life. You can choose another mate but she won't be your true mate.”

I walked past him to go pack a bag, I don't know how they got some of my things but there was a suitcase on the bed. I'm tired of this life I'm not a bad person so why can't anyone just love me .I rubbed my stomach at least my baby will love me. When I got myself together I walked back into the living room.

"I'm ready."

The drive to the border was quiet. I kept praying that he would stop the car and say gotcha but it didn't happen.

“This card has $100,000 on it. Use it wisely because you will not get another cent out of me.” He got out the car and came to my side and opened the door. I unbuckled myself grabbed my bag and got out the car.

I stood there watching him drive away I didn't think that he would actually do it. I couldn't believe this, I stood there with tears running down my face. I Serenity Mayors was just Banished By My Mate.

I picked my bag up and walked to the nearest diner. I was starving and my feet was hurting. I sat down at a booth and waited for someone to take my order. After eating and paying I called a cab.

Damien

I had just left the party. When I got into the apartment I called her name and she didn’t answer. Where is she? I was in the bedroom when I heard the front door.

“Where were you? I've bee- Damon what are you doing here? Where's Serenity?”

“She's gone.”

“OK I'll wait for her.”

“No she's gone. I made her leave. She tried to trap me with a baby.” Sh*t he found out, if he hurt her I’m going to kill him.

“She didn't trap you! She's your mate and you didn't use a condom so don't blame everything on her.”

“It's not my problem anymore. I sent her away with a royal order I don't have to worry about her again.”

Something snapped in me, before I could control my self I had him by the throat throwing punches. We broke the TV, lamp and kitchen table.

“What is going on in here?” We both froze

“Mom what are you doing here? Its 1 a.m.”

“We went to get your grandma from the airport. I thought it would be nice to bring Serenity some food and desert. Everyone followed me your grandma wants to meet her. Why are you fighting?” I glared at Damon.

“Tell them, tell them what you did” I yelled.

He looked at the floor. “Damon what did you do?” My mom asked while glaring at him.

“I sent Serenity away with a royal order.” He mumbled.

“YOU DID WHAT?” She yelled. “After what your father did to me you would turn around and do that to Serenity that poor sweet girl. Rebecca!” She yelled Damon's eyes widened.

“Mom no she will kill me.”

“I'm pregnant so I can't kick your *ss but your grandma can.”

“Yes.” My grandma asked while walking in smiling.

“Your grandson repeated history he banned his mate.”

“He did what?”

“That's not all.” I said, at this point the whole family was here. “Tell them what else.” He growled and glared at me.

“She.. She's pregnant.”

“What?” Mom cried. Grandmas face turned red her eyes darkened she was scary. Let me tell you when grandma gets mad you better run, she may be little but she can pack a punch.

She punched him in the face then kneed him, he doubled over in pain. I would have laughed if I wasn't so worried about Serenity. Dad had to step in and hold her she was furious.

“You better find her Damon, sometimes I swear I see some of Lazarus in that boy.” She shook her head and walked out

“I can't believe you did that to her she's alone and pregnant, she's probably scared to death. You better hope her and my grandchild are safe because if she's not you will never become King” My dad said before leaving.

“He can't do that!” Damon yelled angrily.

“Yes he can. We are still the kings, we choose who gets the crown next, you better find her.” Damon said before everyone left.

“f**k!” Damon yelled while throwing a chair.

“She ruined every f*****g thing.”

“No you did that. Now if you'll excuse me I have to find YOUR mate”

Damon

I don't know why they are so mad she's my mate not theirs and I can do what the hell I want with her. At least I gave her money and she can still join a pack unlike dad did to mom. I swear if I can't take my rightful place as King because of her she's dead. Now I have to find her, it's a waste of time I don't love her I just like having s*x.

I have a plan though, I'll find her, bring her back and play the perfect mate until I'm King then she can go to hell. She can't be that far it's only been about an hour. I went outside and shifted. I followed her scent to a diner then it disappeared. I shifted and put my clothes on. I went into the diner looking around.

“Prince Damon.”

“Have you seen a girl around my age? She's 5'2, long brown hair with gray eyes and glasses?”

“Yes she ordered dinner, ate and cried for a while. I was going to ask if she was OK but she got in a taxi and left. The poor girl looked exhausted, hell I felt like crying just looking at her.”

“Thank you.”

“No problem. Find her dear she looks like she needs a friend.” I mind linked my best friend and told him to come get me. Ten minutes later I was headed to the train station.

“Dude why are we going to the train station?”

“To find my stupid mate.” I growled. I went inside and gave them her description but no one saw her. I then went to the bus station and then the airport.

“...Oh Yeah she boarded the plane to Oregon.”

“Fuck.” She was gone and so were my chances of becoming King. Don't worry Serenity Mayors I will find you that's a promise.

Serenity

I landed in Oregon and smiled, sure my mate banished me and I was pregnant and alone but at least I could start over. I didn't have to worry about being abused by my dad or mate.

I found a taxi and asked him to take me to the nearest hotel. When he stopped I gasped. It was beautiful but I needed to save my money I had a child to worry about now.

“Can you take me to somewhere cheaper, safe and near a lot of stores?”

“I know the perfect place.” We arrived downtown there were pretty buildings everywhere.

“That hotel has a nice friendly staff, its clean and affordable.” It looked nice but I thought about something. What if Damien was to look for me he is the werewolf Prince he could ask around and when he found me he would take me back to Damon. I couldn't let that happen I needed to protect my child.

“Excuse me sir I uh.. I'm kind of running from my ex he's abusive. I don't really want to check in under my name he could find me.”

“No problem I'll take you to my Alpha.” He smiled.

“No! No thanks” I paid for my taxi and jumped out.

Why can't I get away from werewolves? I just want to be left alone. I sat at a bus stop crying. I probably looked like a crazy poor person. A few minutes later someone sat beside me. “Why are you here rogue?”

“Ex-Excuse me?”

“Why are you in my territory?” He growled. Great he's the Alpha and he's going to kill me.

“I-I please don't hurt me.” I cried.

“Then you better get to talking.”

“I just got here. I'm not here to cause trouble. I haven't been in a pack in years I don't know the rules.”

“Come with me.” My eyes widened in fear I began shaking. His grip on my arm was making me panic more. I've heard the stories about what packs does to rogues. They let the un-mated males rape the women, they beat the men and don't feed them anything but water and bread.

“I'm sorry I'll leave now just don't hurt me.” He looked down at me his eyes were black. I felt it. I knew what was going to happen, I passed out from fear.

I woke up in a cell. It was filthy. It smelled like blood and I could see mold on the walls. I started to cry again, this much stress can't be good for me or the baby.

“You're up.” A tall man said from outside of the cell. I cowered back to the furthest wall and closed my eyes praying that he wouldn't hurt me.

He opened the door and came in it felt smaller with him here. “I'm Louis, Blacks beta. Follow me. I'm not going to hurt you I promise.” I nodded my head and followed him up some stairs then to some rooms.

“Wait in here he'll be here soon.”

The room was small with a table and two chairs, nothing else. After about five minutes the Alpha came in.

“I'm going to give you one chance to tell me the truth. Lie and you'll be thrown in the cells again.” I nodded my head.

“What's your name and where are you from?”

“Serenity Mayors I'm from Texas.”

“Why are you here? You didn't inform any of the alphas in this area.”

“I don't know any I just hopped on a plane. I have no where to go.” I broke down his eyes softened.

“You don't have any family?”

“My my mom disappeared and my dad beats me. I was raped by my mate and banished from his area. Now I'm here alone and pregnant. Do you have my bag?” I began to panic. That bag had my money and the card that Damon gave me.

“One more question.. Why do you have Prince Damon's card in your wallet?” Crap.

“He-He gave it to me I-Im his mate.”

“Are you lying to me?”

“No I swear. You can't tell anyone he doesn't want anyone to know that we're mates. After I got pregnant he banished me.” He shook his head.

“Like father like son. Don't worry you're safe here.”

“You're not going to throw me in the cell?” I asked surprised.

“No I believe you.”

“You do?”

“Yeah, I hate Prince Damon.”

“Why?" I blurted out. “I'm sorry.” He chuckled.

“No it's OK. We went to his palace for an Alpha meeting. I took my sister with me she fell in love with him the same day. He told her that he loved her as well, he said that he was going to choose her for a mate. She believed him. She gave him her virginity, the next day he completely ignored her.

That night they had a party he completely embarrassed her saying that she was stupid to believe him he only wanted one thing and he got it. He had no more use for her, she was humiliated even when we got home she was teased about it. Someone recorded the party and her humiliation. She couldn't take it a week later she killed her self”

I gasped that was horrible Damon is a freaking monster. “I'm so sorry.” I cried for her, for the pain he put her through. God knows how many others are out there he did the same thing to.

“Hey hey don't cry. It was years ago just don't mention it, it's a sore subject around here.” I nodded my head.

“Follow me.”

“Can I have my glasses please?” He gave my bag and I followed him upstairs and outside.

“You'll be staying in the pack house, you'll have to join the pack.”

“No I can't he'll know where I am. Prince Damien will take me back I don't want to go back.” I cried.

“I have an idea, why don't you choose a new name. No one will know, that way you can join the pack and my members won't be un-easy about you being here.”

“OK.” I smiled he laughed. “My parents are going to love you.” This was it. I finally got my new start, with a family that will love me.
