Margo

"Margo is that you?" I heard someone say and turned around.

"Allen? Oh my god it's been years!" He came towards me and hugged me. Allen was like a brother to me. Our pack was ambushed and my family was killed. His mother and father was nice enough to take me in and treated me like there’s. When I met my mate I moved away to be with him because he was a rogue. I didn’t care about that because I loved him.

"How have you been?"

"I’m fine. Just dropped Serenity off now running errands. How are aunt Lettie and uncle Art?"

"They’re fine they miss you. I want to see my niece I only saw a picture."

"I miss them I miss you."

"Then why don’t you come visit."

"You know that we're considered rogues and Clark is paranoid." He took my number and put his number in. He kissed my forehead and I sighed I missed him so much.

"I have to go or I’ll miss my flight my mate will kill me. You better call me."

"I will love you."

"love you too Mar." I went to the grocery store and got a few things then went home. I had a daily routine. Get up at 5am cook breakfast, drop serenity off, go run errands, come home clean, go pick serenity up then cook dinner. If I don’t have dinner ready Clark will get angry. I was surprised to see Clark sitting at the kitchen table when I walked through the door.

"You scared me!" When he looked up his eyes were black.

"Clark? Are you OK? Talk to me." He growled and stood up. I backed up hitting the wall. I’ve only seen him like this when he was fighting another wolf.

"Clark you’re scaring me." He growled again and grabbed me by the throat sniffing me

"Why do you smell like another wolf?" His wolf took over, I was in trouble now.

"I-I"

"Answer the damn question!" He yelled.

"I ran into an old friend we didn’t do anything."

"I saw you hugging him you said that you loved him." He sounded angry and sad at the same time.

"You got it all wro-" Before I could finish my sentence he punched me in the stomach. Then slapped me. I bent over coughing. He's never hit me before.

"Clark please listen to me, that was All-"

"Don’t you dare say his f*cking name! You want to cheat on me? After everything we've been through. Well if you want to leave you wont do it walking!"

"I love you I would never leave you and Serenity." He went to the closet and came with a bat. My eyes widened I tried to run but he hit my legs and I fell. I had tears streaming down my face I was terrified.

"Clark please."

"Shut up. You're a worthless whore." He yelled. while swinging the bat. I heard a crack and screamed. He broke my leg! He broke my leg! I tried to crawl but my broken leg was making it hard.

"I love you Clark I would never cheat on you. Just listen Allen is like a broth-"

"I. Told. You. Not. To. Say. His. Name." He roared. He grabbed my arm and twisted. I heard a crack and pain shot from wrist. He's going to kill me. I have to get out of here. I really don't know how I was going to. He wasn't listening and was acting irrational but I had to escape I couldn't let Serenity live here with him.

"I'll go Clark just please stop." He picked me up and took me to the woods. This is it I'm going to die.

"Do not come home you're not my mate anymore."

"What about Serenity? I wont leave her."

"You will never see her again that's your punishment. If I see you around here I'll kill you."

"I am not leaving my child!" I yelled. He pulled out a gun pointed it towards me.

"Listen good, Serenity is mine if you come near her I'll kill her while you watch. Don't speak to her don't look at her."

"What am i supposed to do I have no where to go."

"Go to your lover." Was all he said before leaving.

"Clark! Clark! Get back here you cant just leave me here."

Flashback over

No one knew how hard it was for me to leave her but I had to. I honestly believed that he would kill the both of us. I just needed to explain things to Serenity, make her understand. I denied knowing her because I was afraid. If she was here Clark was probably here, he knew the only way to hurt me was through the her. I took a deep breath here goes nothing.

Serenity

"You're a dead b***h!" My mom yelled running towards the door. I turned my head to see Margo standing at the door with wide eyes. Again, this was not going to end well. My mom punched Margo and had her by the hair. My dad was yelling for her to let go but she wouldn't.

"Mom stop it!" I yelled. She let go. And was breathing hard.

"You get the hell out you're not welcomed here."

"Please let me explain." Margo begged.

"Explain what you heartless bitch." I gasped. Out of all the time that I've been here my mom never raised her voice or cursed. I know know not to get her angry.

"Serenity can I explain please."

"You've got one minute."

"I'm sorry I-I just couldn't stay. I wanted to bring you with me but he wouldn't let me. After I dropped you off at school I ran into a old family friend. I hugged him he was like a brother to me his family took me in when mine died. When I got home your father smelled his scent on me. He went crazy.

I had a broken leg, a black eye, and sprang wrist. I begged him to let me get you but he told me no, he said that was my punishment. I watched you from a far for a couple of months until he caught me, he beat me half to death. I was in the hospital for a month. He said that if I came back he would kill the both of us."

I believe that my dad beat the crap out of her he became a lunatic after she left. If she was watching me like she said then she could have gotten me from school, she could have taken me with her.

"I don't care. You found a Beta to live with I'm sure he would have helped you get your only daughter back. You're a selfish person I do forgive you I'm not the kind of person to hate anyone. Just stay away from me Margo. I'll call you when and if I want to talk to you."

"Serenity please I'm sorry. We can start ove-"

"I don't want to hear anything else from you, not today just leave me alone." I yelled. I went to my room and slammed the door. I didn't want to deal with her I couldn't deal with her. I have too much to worry about already. I believe my dad probably did try to kill her. I feel bad that she almost died for trying to see me. My dad is a different person when he's angry but like I said she could have taken me with her.

I cried myself to sleep when I woke up it was dark. I was surprised nobody came and woke me up especially Kyle. I'm very surprised Damon or Damien didn't knock my door down. Crap Damon and Damien! I hope Ryan and my dad didn't fight them. I threw open the door and ran down the stairs when I got to the kitchen I stopped in my tracks. Damien had on one of my moms aprons and was helping her and Warren's sister cook.

"Serenity you're up." My mom smiled.

"Are you OK?" He ran to me pulled me into a hug. I was uncomfortable with everyone watching me.

"Yes I'm fine. I thought that you guys would have killed each other by now."

"Trust me I wanted to." Ryan said from the door. "He showed us the emails. He was telling the truth. Why someone would keep emails from years ago is beyond me. But I still hate him for what he did to you."

"I'm fine now Ryan. We have to get along for Kyles sake. I'm working on forgiving him. If I can do that so can you."

"I'll try for you and Kyle."

"Thank you Ryan I love you."

"Love you too." I heard a growl and turned around. Warrens sister eyes were getting darker.

"Celeste!" Ryan growled "She's my sister."

"Don't growl at my mate."

"Damien its OK."

"I'm sorry Serenity."

"Its alright. So where's Warren?" Damon growled from the door.

"Oh be quiet Damon he's my friend."

"He's with his mate." She smiled. Oh that's right Warren and Keira are mates! They're probably somewhere humping like rabbits.

"Where are they?"

"At my house. Something happened last night I'll tell you later OK."

"Where is Kyle I miss him."

"Cole had a sleep over, you know how much Ke love those. There's like a hundred kids over there. I was there for five minutes and wanted to scream." Ryan said while making a Face.

"Dinner!" Mom yelled. Everyone ran to the dining room.

"Knock me over why don't you." They didn't even apologize for knocking me every which way.

When we got to the dining room my mom said grace and we started. I smiled to myself everyone was getting along. No yelling and no drama.

"Give me that roll Ryan." Celeste yelled.

"No it's mine." He said taking a bite out of the last one.

"You're dead." Celeste growled and tried to stab him with the fork. I giggled I couldn't believe they was fighting over a roll.

"She's the female version of Ryan." I said causing my parents to laugh.

"So serenity did you have fun at the club last night?" Celeste smirked. I blushed and looked at my food.

"Serenity here is a good dancer." She smiled. "I enjoyed hanging with her its usually me and the obnoxious guys."

"Serenity? Dancing... At a club?" My dad asked.

"Oh yeah she's a good dancer." Damien smirked.

"She especially loves body party." Damon coughed. My face heated up again and I elbowed him. That was the song that was playing on their video. They was never going to let this go!

"Serenity!" Ryan gasped and everyone laughed.

"Shut up." I glared.

"Serenity I told you that your glare doesn't scare me! Angry kitten."

"So how long are you two going to be here?" My mom asked.

"Until the end of next month. I'm here teaching the new Werewolf law class at the college. Damien came when I told him I found Serenity."

"That's nice."

"Serenity and Kyle will be coming back with us. She needs to train and take her place as the official future Queen." I choked on my water. I never said that I was moving back with them. I will not drop everything just because they found me.

"Serenity is not going with you." Ryan said through gritted teeth.

"Our mate and my son is coming home where they can be protected and take on their proper title."

"You cant just come here and take them away! They're our family we love them.” Ryan yelled.

"We love them as well.” Damon yelled back. Damon loved me? He hasn't even been here that long how could he fall in love me with me that fast? I've loved him since the first day I met him but those feeling slowly faded away over the years. My wolf already loved him and Damien.

"I cant f*cking tell!"

"Ryan!" I yelled

"You better watch how you talk to me pup."

"Damon!" I yelled.

"She's not going anywhere with you."

"Please stop fighting!" They weren't listening. At this point my dad and Damien jumped in. Everyone was yelling at each other. God can't I go a day without this. I got up and left. I dialed Keiras number. She's the only one who seems to have sense these days.

Damien

It was total chaos. Damon and Ryan was seconds away from shifting. I wasn't going to sit here and let them double team my brother. He hurt Serenity but he's really trying. He's even trying to find a way to get around the whole girlfriend situation. Yeah you heard right, Damon has a girlfriend but it's not what you think. She's the number one suspect in an investigation that the elders are leading. He's been with her since high school at first he really did love her I think that's half the reason why he treated serenity that way.

After she left he became out of control. My parents had enough, they told him that he would be sent away to royal boot camp. That knocked some sense into. He changed after that. But lets not get into that right now I have to stop this before it gets more out of control.

"Everybody sit!" I yelled. I looked beside me to see that serenity was gone.

"Look at what you did you ran her away. This is stupid, it's Serenity’s choice if she wants to go or not we cant make that decision for her."

Man do I sound like a hypocrite! Damon and I are doing the same thing, making her choose between mates. No wonder she left she's probably tired of us, tired of everyone.

Serenity....... Serenity answer me please.

"She's blocking me out."

Serenity where the hell are you? We have no time to chase you all around this town. Damon yelled through the link

"Damon do you have to yell?"

"She's frustrating!"

"And you yelling isn't going to make her answer."

"She wont answer me either." Ryan growled.

Just let me know that you are OK.

I'm fine Damien. I just want to be alone. No yelling, no family, no mates. And tell Ryan to stop threatening me, if he goes near Mr poodles I'll make sure him and Celeste wont have kids.

Who's Mr poodles? I asked

Good night Damien.

"She's fine. She told me to tell Ryan that if he goes near Mr poodles she'll make sure he and Celeste never have kids."

Ryan smiled. "I knew that would get her attention."

"What the f**k is a Mr poodles?" Damon asked. I swear he has no manners.
