I woke up and I looked at the time and it was 10 at night. Napasobra ata tulog ko.
I got up because I was feeling a little hungry. Has Caden eaten yet? Speaking of him, nasaan kaya sya? I immediately left the room, thinking he was in the living room but I couldn't find him.
Where is he? I decided to got myself ready and decided to go down to eat.
When I entered the restaurant, I looked around the whole place to see if Caden was hungry and came here, but still nothing.
Kakain na lang siguro ako mag isa I'm sure kumain na rin yun.
I was quietly eating when someone suddenly approached at my table, a man who look like a Chinese.
"Hi miss can I sit here" tiningnan ko sya na parang nagtatanong "this is the only seat that available here at the restaurant" sagot nya nakuha nya siguro ang tingin ko
I looked around and noticed that the tables and seats were already full
"Uh, sure?" nagaalinlangan kong sagot
He sat down and put down his food.
"By the way, I'm Vincent Lim" he extended his hand which I immediately accepted
"Deighn Watson McBride" I also introduce myself to him
"Are you related to Caden Mcbride? Ang tagapag mana ng McBride Enterprises?" I was surprised because he suddenly spoke Tagalog
"He's my husband" I said proudly and he was a little surprised
"Woah! he's lucky huh. Where is he now?" he asked so I was stunned, hindi ko alam kung sasabihin ko ba sa kanya ang totoo
"Actually, I've been looking for him for a while now," I weakly answered, there's nothing wrong if I tell him at mukha naman syang mapagkakatiwalaan
"I'll help you find him" I was a little happy with what he said, at least someone will help me, right?
"But mamaya na, let's eat first" he added laughing, that's why his eyes narrowed even more
After we ate we went around looking for Caden.
"Caden might be at a bar" is there a bar here? I really have no idea
"May bar ba dito?" clueless kong tanong kase wala naman akong nakikita e
"Yes, it's a little far from the hotel. Ano tara?" I just nodded and followed him
Nasa entrance pa lang kami ay rinig na agad ang mga ingay ng tao. Nakipagsiksikan agad ako sa mga tao, nilibot ko ang paningin ko ngunit natigilan ako sa aking nakita. Nandoon sya sa may bar counter at may kahalikang babae na halos kita na ang kaluluwa. Nagdadalawang isip ako kung lalapitan ko ba sya o hinde.
I suddenly felt weak and felt like my knee was about to give up. Naiiyak na din ako at the same time s**t wag ngayon, wag sa harap ni Vince ayokong kaawaan nya ako.
"Are you okay?" napansin nya siguro ang pag iba ko ng emosyon
He looked where I was looking, I immediately knew what he was thinking.
"Nag away ba kayong dalawa?" Vince asked me but I didn't answer him
I just smiled at Vince to say it was okay.
"I-I'll just go back to the hotel" I told him weakly, I want to lock myself in the room and pour all my tears there
"Alright, hatid na kita" the questioning in his eyes was obvious, maybe he was thinking kung bakit hindi ko man lang pinuntahan si Caden at ang babaeng kasama nito
Gusto ko man sugudin ang babae pero wala naman akong karapatan. Baka nga kampihan pa yun ni Caden at itanggi na naman ako. He's free now because we don't have to pretend, that's in our deal and I agreed to that.
"Are you really okay?" Vince assured
"Yes, thank you" I managed to smile even though I knew it was fake
"Okay" nagkibit balikat na lang sya
"See you when I see you" nakangiti nyang sabi kaya ngumiti na lang din ako at least nagkaroon ako ng bagong kaibigan.
After he left, the tears that I had been holding back started to flow. I went straight to the room and hugged my pillow, this pillow will know how much I'm hurt right now.
I looked at our wedding ring on my finger. It sparkles because of the light coming from the ceiling. Napangiti ako ng mapait. Yung deal na lang namin ang nagiisa kong pag asa , umaasa ako na dahil sa pagpapanggap namin ay maging tunay ang pagmamahal nya.
But even if I don't know the result, I will still hope.
