My body stiffened when I smelt him. “I know you’re awake, babygirl.” A voice whispered into my ear. My heart pounded against my chest as the memories from earlier finally formed in my mind. I never wanted to hear his voice or feel his touch ever again. I noticed my head was lying in his lap. And I jolted up and tried to move away from him to the other side of the car.
