Chapter 6 The weekend was hell. His dad had several episodes where he completely forgot where he was—and even forgot Graham. Each time it took him over an hour to calm his dad. He planned on calling the doctor first thing Monday morning. By Sunday evening, he was exhausted. He hadn’t had a chance to go to the laundromat, so they were close to wearing dirty clothes. He decided that was an inconvenience he wasn’t willing to live with, so he looked up contractors to see about having the utility closet enlarged to include a washer and dryer. It would probably have to be one of those stacked units, but he was fine with that. While he was at it, he would have the floor redone, with hardwood like he’d planned, and possibly have new cabinets installed in the kitchen. At the very least, new cabin
