She doesn't deserve it

1805 Words
In the room where hundreds of extremely expensive wines were being displayed, Zeus sat in one of the swivel chairs with complex emotions. With narrow and bloodshed eyes from so much anger. The almost perfect man, loosen up his tie and heave a cold breath. He stroked his furrowed brows out of frustration. Still cannot process the report that was handed to him by his private investigator. His forehead wrinkles as he reads the data further. There must be a big mistake, a piece of invalid information, coming from a useless source. He was so displeased that he thought his investigators were useless. He was holding the slightly crumpled piece of paper in his hand and tightened his grip. He doesn't want to accept the result. Zeus was not convinced yet, so he summoned his butler just to get the accurate and precise results that he wanted. “Frieah D. Celebez, a twenty-three years old woman who just graduated from college, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in interior design. The hidden half-sister of Breiana D. Celebez, the owner of the Celebez industry. Secret girlfriend of Nicolo Hidalgo, the owner of Hidalgo corporation.” He stopped reading as he tried to control his little patience while absorbing the information in the datasheet. With a dim face, he scoffs. His jaw tightens as he slowly walks towards his office minibar. His unfathomable aura is exuding in his expensive Armani suit. A human-like Greek God, holding a glass of wine while playing the tip of it with his finger in a circular motion. He was fervently thinking. Memories from his past together with his beloved serpent wife surge and were like a venom that slowly consumed his sanity. The name Vanessa keeps on ringing in his mind. Zeus couldn't help but massage his temple as the face of his smiling wife chiseled in his mind deeper. The wife who profusely betrayed him. Hew was staring at the huge oil painting of a beautiful lady in red smiling innocently. The paintings that were still kept for years were firmly glued on the wall. Is she really dead? He dared to question his own thoughts. Maybe this is just part of another scheme because she is seemingly good at manipulating people. He carefully scrutinized the woman's face in the painting. Zeus sneered thinking he was fooled by this angelic face for years. No matter how hard he looked at the painting still, he couldn't see any differences between the two women based on their outer appearance. From the beautiful slanty black shade brown eyes, little pointy proud nose, alluringly lustful lips. A perfectly beautiful scheming face. Body and beauty that can sink thousands of ships. So different from its cunning character. How did it happen that they are two different women? How can they even not be related to any little thing? Or just a bloodline from afar. They must be really off. It's been five years, yet every single detail of his precious wife's betrayal is still fresh to his mind. The woman who killed their unborn child just to be with her lover. ‘What a pathetic and selfish b***h!’ His eyes were filled with disgust just by looking at the woman's innocent face. “No words can express how hideous this woman is from the inside.” “Master Zeus . . . Madame is already awake.” “I'll be there in a moment.” His stern cold voice echoed all over the four corners of the room. Every gesture he makes is exuding with power, violence, and death. A man who was born into a happy and complete family that was destroyed by his mother's betrayal. The betrayal that causes his hatred for women that covered his whole being until now. At a young age, his beloved father committed suicide. His father didn't pretend to be emotionless. He ended his own life leaving his teenage son. Zeus was like thrown into the hungry sharks. Striving hard just to face their enemies. On that day, he never believed in women again. He treated them like plagues, useless creatures that bring forth lustful needs in the world. A selfish creature whose only concern is their needs and wants. That is why he never intended for women to keep. Their usage is only for bed, and cold b***h toys. Not until he met Vanessa Godeli. She changed every aspect of his thoughts that he has for women. He slowly changed into a good and reasonable gentleman. He became lively and started to live as a human again. Sooner than later he married the woman of his life. In the first year of their lives living together as husband and wife, he can only feel contentment, he can only feel what his father's feeling before. The love that you can die for. He is completely and vividly in love with the woman who changed his grey and black outlook in life into the perfect positive version of it. It was like a fairy tale love story. And then one day, he suddenly woke up in the dream that he's been living for almost two wasted years. A sweet and wonderful dream that turned into a nightmare. That almost fairytale love story but ended up all messed up and is a lie. He woke up, dealing with his monster. Seeing the woman he used to adore and he used to love, leaving with her lover after the day they lose their three-month-old unborn son was like a bomb that exploded and destroyed the remaining humanity in him. His anger that grows deeper is now consuming him to the fullest. He never did stop chasing her, not because he still loves her, but of revenge. But of oozing anger. The painful thing that he cannot name, and even death cannot ease and erase. Vanessa died while running away with her man in a car accident. Her body was found burnt and so was her lover. Burnt body but the DNA and other body parts samples will never lie that indeed the woman whom he hated the most, and the woman who used to be his world is now dead. It's unfair, it was an untimely death. He rather sees his wife suffer than giving her a quick death. Because she doesn't deserve it. His footsteps are the only noise you can hear. The man who is surrounded by his top elite fighter, yet no one dared to utter any word. Not until he reaches a distance where he can clearly hear the loud pleading and sobs of a woman whom he would kill painfully, for a thousand painful times. He can no longer name his anger. Seeing her again after five years gave him the feeling of mixed emotions. “Please . . . I'm begging you all, Doc, please. . . Let me go. Please.” Her pleading was loud and clear but nobody dared to listen. “What have I done to you? To every one of you? I didn't even know any of you. Maybe you got the wrong person. Just please, let me go. I-if it is about the phone that I accidentally broke. I promise I will pay for it, even at double the price! Just, please, let me go,” she pleaded with her desperate voice. She doesn't know what will happen next. But she only has one goal for now, and it's to survive. Zeus sneered while listening to the woman's words. She's really a perfect schemer. Who would have thought that a woman with an angelic face can be as filthy as the worst virus exists? A drama queen who deserves a throne in hell. When the door opened, it creaked. The sound created by the door was like a suspense effect that made everyone in the room shivered. His gaze automatically landed on the filthy woman lying in the bed, while her both hands were tightly tied on the headboard of the private hospital's bed. The room turned deadly silent when he finally got in. “How are you, my little hoe?” The coldness of his voice brings nothing but danger. Frieah's gaze fixed to the man who owned the dangerously cold voice. She was on the verge of breaking down when she saw Zeus slowly approaching her. “M-Mr. Zeus Valderijah,” she uttered those words that are almost a whisper. She could only hear the deafening sound of her heart together with her shattered hope. The loud crisp slap boomed the silence in the room. Everyone was dumbfounded by how ruthless Zeus could treat his wife. “Ughh! It's so good to have you back, b***h. Never say my name again with your filthy mouth, you look disgusting. You are not qualified to say it.” Frieah can no longer understand the man's words. The strength that she gathered for hours has been taken away from her with just a single slap. She felt like her jaw broke, tasting her own blood again, dizziness succumbing to her consciousness. She can only do nothing but slightly close her eyes and feel the man's hand forcefully snatched her hospital gown. Her body aches again. Coldness now filled her blank thoughts. “Master Zeus, she has not recovered yet. Please do not touch her for now.” With a cold stare, he looks at the almost naked woman. Wearing nothing but only her doctor's coat. “Clean this mess, Titus.” “Yes, Master Zeus.” With an alarming click of the gun, the sexy woman in the doctor's coat quickly lifted her bowed head. Seeing the live gun directly pointing at her, she panicked. Her knee wobbled and couldn't support her own weight. “P-please M-master Zeus. I-im s-sorry. D-don—” In just a blink of an eye, her blood scattered all over the floor. Her headless body was now laying on the floor covered with thick blood lifeless. The sound of the gun was followed by the footsteps of the girls in uniform who quickly removed the dead body in the room and cleaned the scattered blood as nothing happened earlier. The smell of the room was still filled with the scent of fresh blood that enveloped their nostrils. “All of you, leave.” With his words, all of his people bowed their heads and hurriedly exited the room. While Frieah's eyes slowly shutting down. The last thing she heard and saw was the footsteps and the man who's slowly unbuckling his belt while evilly looking at her. She was horrified and abandoned. She smiled bitterly praying that this will all end soon and thinking this is only a nightmare. One day, she will wake up happily living in their little home together with her mom.
