    Grace crossed her ankles after she sat in the pale blue chair, patiently watching the despondent, beautiful Latina girl in her office. Elijah had escorted her into the room ten minutes ago, yet Gabriella had yet to acknowledge her. She had gotten thinner, her skin pale, and her eyes had lost some of the spark it had nearly three weeks ago when she had met her. It had been a struggle to get her to eat, and although they managed to get Gabriella to eat at least two meals a day, she would pick through it and leave too much behind.     She had refused to go to the Monday Pack dinner in the dining hall, and Grace didn’t pressure her.
