Jackson hands me the key to our room with directions on how to find it, and then I slip out to get five minutes of peace. I find the room easily enough and, once inside, I pop a couple of tablets and wash them down with a cold bottle of water from the minibar. I splash some water on my wrists relishing in the feel of the cold liquid before retouching my makeup.
