Ambrosia POV:
When we walked in to the meeting room I could feel how nervous Celeste was, Malachi seemed calm but he felt a little intimidated which was normal for someone who has never been in a situation like this before. "Please take a seat over there." I said pointing to the couch. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Alley, that is Emma, Charlotte, Diane, Jasmine, Stefanie and all of our mates." Alley said pointing to everyone. "Hello everyone, I'm Malachi this is my mate Celeste. What can we help you with?" Malachi asked in a calm tone. "Do all of the infected vampires over seas know each other?" Emma asked. "Not really, we never really talked to each other and the only time we really seen anyone was when a meeting was called." Malachi replied. "The only people to know literally everyone was Hervoux and myself, we had everyone running in different directions. They are what I consider loaners, didn't trust anyone." Celeste added. "So if we were to disguise ourselves to go and spy per say would it work?" Stefanie asked. "I don't see why not, we could give you a crash course on how to behave. It is simple in all honesty." Malachi replied. "Just be mindless, ruthless and if challenged in a certain way you must know that it is to the death." Celeste added.
Everyone looked around for a second, then talks erupted. No one wanted their mates to go and I took a deed breath and pinched the bridge of my nose. "Pythia and I will go as we said earlier. No offense but none of you can be as ruthless as we can be." I said looking around. "Is that meant to be an insult?" Collin asked. "Not at all, I've learned that wolves try to talk before action. In this case you must be the one that kills before a word is spoken. Can you move that fast?" I asked looking at him. "She's right Collin shut up." Josh snapped. "We can be that way too." Collin argued. "Not to that extent. No offense to any of you but they can like flip a switch and give zero shits about a life and right now that is what is needed." Jasmine replied. "No offense taken but you are correct. Vampires and dark witches tend to have more of a mental block when it comes to that sort of stuff. It's like it is embedded within us." I said. "I'll go with." Jeremy said looking at me. "Jeremy, no offense but you've been out your entire life until we pulled you back in." I replied. "Um. Who is he?" Celeste whispered. "The lost rogue king but I hid him away so his father couldn't turn him as bad as him." I replied. "But much like you it embedded with me too. I didn't leave a pack or get kicked out. I was born in to it which means it is in my blood." Jeremy said.
I took a deep breath. I wasn't really sure if he could pull it off. "But you were saved with the rest of them. Maybe it's not in your blood anymore." Cass tried to reason. "Just because we were saved doesn't mean it's always gone. The rogue king might be sleeping but isn't dead." Jeremy replied softly. "He's right." Stephen said making us look at him. "All of us are born a certain way. Just like you Ambrosia, you aren't near as bad as you use to be but in the blink of an eye you can go back to that roaring murderous b***h, no offense. Jeremy could do the very same." Stephen added making me laugh. "Roaring murderous b***h? I like the sound of that but I would prefer ruthless murderous b***h but you are correct I suppose. Is this what you really want to do Jeremy?" I asked looking at him. "I owe you so much for what you did. Any chance I get to help then I will." Jeremy replied. I nodded my head. "We will have to cover your scent, I'll go and see Lillith after this." I said. "Actually I may have some stuff." Stephen replied holding up a little bottle. "I got some for the trackers. Go ahead and start spraying yourself." He added. Jeremy nodded and took the bottle from Stephen before stepping back to spray himself. "Alright, as for the two of you, what do we need to do?" I asked looking at Celeste and Malachi. "Well, black paint for one if you are wanting to hide your looks. Gotta have red eyes, black hair and like Celeste said act mindless." Malachi replied. "When I say that, I mean act ruthless, don't answer any questions and don't really speak a lot." Celeste added.
This all seemed like a lot of work if we were just going to kill them. "That seems like a lot." Xander said echoing my thoughts. "I mean, if we are just going to kill them why does it matter?" Jeremy asked. "Good point, I just don't want them to be able to run off and warn the others." I replied. "I'll have the other guardians up top to catch whoever tries to run off but I think this should be a quick grab and go." Xander said. "We just need to get the children out of both packs, keep your eyes open and watch everything. We can determine then and there if they are worth saving or not." Jeremy said. "If anything goes wrong you are to call us and we will be right there." Jackson said looking at me. "When do you want to go?" Jeremy asked. "How about within the hour? Tye and I have plans tonight." Pythia said from the door way. "That'' give us enough time to separate from Sage and Delilah and get Jeremy back in to shape a little bit. Xander, go round the ones you want to go up." I said looking over my shoulder. "We will get things situated and ready for the children. Celeste, would you mind helping?" Alley asked with a smile. "Oh um, of course." Celeste replied. "Malachi can come with us and tell us a little more about the infected." Jackson said. "Of course, any help I can give." Malachi replied. I kissed Jackson on his cheek. "Be back as soon as we can." I whispered before walking off.
We all had our tasks to do and as much as I would like a little more time we didn't have it. When we got outside I took a few steps back away from everyone before I closed my eyes. "Alright Sage, get your a*s out." I said laughing. I felt the familiar warmth before a pop and I opened my eyes to see Sage standing in front of me looking as annoyed as ever. "You could have said it nicely." Sage huffed making me laugh. I looked over to see Delilah standing beside Pythia. "I forgot how big the two of them were." Jeremy said looking at them. "Alright Jeremy, are you sure you are going to be able to do this?" Pythia asked. "Of course. The beast within me is merely sleeping." Jeremy replied with a soft smile. "Just don't lose yourself to it. It'll be hard to pull you back out." I said. "Just have my Cassie waiting on me." Jeremy replied in a tight tone. "Alright I think we are good to go." Xander said walking up. I peaked behind him to see Noble was tucked tightly in with everyone and I smiled. "Sneaking away again?" I asked. "Shh." Noble replied shaking his head. "I know you weren't thinking about leaving without me." Lillith said. "Not at all, I will need your help." Pythia replied. I looked at Xander and nodded my head before I opened my hand calling my siphon to me. I was not going to walk in to this without having it. "That thing is seriously cool." Jeremy said looking at it.
He looked over at Xanders and I could see the amazement on his face. "Alright, Hotch and Xander are on the ground with us, the rest of you go up high and do not let anyone get away." I said looking around. "What about Sage and Delilah?" Baine asked. I looked over at Jeremy, "I need that bottle please." I said holding my hand out, he quickly handed it to me and I moved fast spraying all over Sage before moving on to Delilah. "Alright, we are losing sunlight let's get going." Pythia said holding on to my shoulder. When we were all connected she teleported us just outside of the territory. There was an eerie feeling and when I looked up I could see everything was half way torn down, like a tornado or something came through here. "Pythia, cloak us." I whispered. "Invisique." Pythia whispered and I shuddered. "Alright, let's get as far as we can before we have to show ourselves." I said walking forward. I looked up in the trees and if it weren't for my guardian ability I wouldn't be able to see any of them up there, I was careful with where I stepped, I didn't want to make a noise to alarm anyone that we were here. I made sure to keep scanning my eyes across so nothing would blind side me when I started hearing some noises. I froze and looked around until I finally saw an infected vampire stumbling around. "That doesn't look good." Jeremy whispered.
He was right, something was different about this one. She looked more sickly than the others and had black goo stuff running from her pores. I tilted my head when her body started to convulse and instantly she exploded. "Oh that is nasty as hell." Pythia said scrunching her face together. "One less for us to worry about, let's keep moving." I said walking forward. It was like a ghost town, everything on the outer areas were abandoned which made me wonder where they all were. Houses started getting closer together and bigger with each step we took. "Heads up, four infected headed your way." Baine whispered and I stopped. "Xander, take Pythia and Delilah and go hide over there." I whispered quickly. "You guys with me." I said running towards another house. I peaked around the corner to see four of them walking towards us looking around. Their noses lifted in the air which told me they were smelling one of us. These ones looked a lot better, more in shape and I looked back at Hotch. "You ready?" I asked. "I'm always ready." Hotch replied bouncing around. I grabbed his arm and pulled him with me. "Pythia, reveal us." I said quickly. It didn't take her long because instantly all of their eyes fell on me and Hotch. "Ah, who might you be?" The male in front asked. "I am Ambrosia." I replied easily. "The false queen." The female replied and I smiled.
There was nothing I liked more than to prove people wrong and with them sadly their life won't be around long enough for me to enjoy my moment. "Well, I am flattered that you know who I am but unfortunately I can't allow you to live." I replied. "You think the two of you can take the four of us?" The male asked. "Oh, hunny I don't think anything. I know for a fact that I can take you alone, my friend here just likes to take part in the fun." I replied. The time was now or never, I needed to become the one thing I grew most from and flip that switch. Their lives were meaningless, but I needed to keep at least one alive to gain the knowledge I really needed. I shifted my weight and held tighter to my siphon. "Well are you just going to stand there and admire how beautiful I am or are we going to get down to business?" I asked in a mocking tone. "You'll die for that." The man sneered. I smiled knowing it didn't take much to get them right where I wanted them and now that I felt confident enough it was time to put the words to bed and as Jeremy said, awaken the beast within me that was sleeping.......
***In this chapter we see a plan put together and started to be executed. Are we ready to see if our Ambrosia can still be as ruthless as she once was? Let me know what you guys think!***
