CHAPTER: 51 Step towards the Tournament

Megumi dropped Miyuki on her apartment and gets out from there soon. While driving the car he got a message from Sasori and he said ‘I want to meet you before time gets midnight 12. I will be waiting for you”. After seeing it Megumi’s mind was started get confusion. Why did he want to meet me right now? Is there anything he want to talk about right now?

   Megumi’s mind was started to fill with more questions about the meeting. And after dropped Miyuki soon he gets to the place where Sasori wanted him to be present. Some minutes later Megumi reached there soon and watching around and checking the surrounding to verify everything is alright. Then the time started to pass first five minutes passed then it changed into ten minutes but still Sasori was not presented there.

   Megumi started to think it can be a trap or making fun of him. So soon Megumi gets inside the car to get out from there but suddenly a helicopter was landing in that place and Megumi watching it while being inside the car. Sasori was coming from the helicopter and steps down on ground. “What are you doing Megumi I asked you to come here before midnight and you just going away?”

   “I came here just like you said to me, but I waited for long time and you didn’t show up. I thought you were setting trap for me or making fun of me by calling here and not showing up. So, I planned to get out from here and now you were standing in front of me”. Sasori watching him like he was like a lowly animal and he started to talk while walking. “You don’t have any choice Megumi so don’t act like you are being superior to me”.

   Megumi gets out from the car and asked to him “What do you want now Sasori? Are you want me to die or you just called me and came to say that I am not superior to me?” While Megumi says it Sasori’s anger was started to rise high. “Where is this attitude of you comes from because even in the danger moment still you are acting like an alpha. I called you here to make a deal with you which gives me a profit and helps you other way”.

   At first Megumi can’t be able to understand what Sasori was thinking and he not even able to predict what’s his offer or deal and without any option Megumi asked the details about the deal. “First say what was the deal about and then I choose whether it profits me or not”. And Sasori started to say his plan to Megumi. “I am going to kill you here right here… right now and by accepting it I leave your brother and also your new reunited family”.

   “What are you saying Sasori?” Megumi really shocked when he said it. And Sasori started to brainwash Megumi’s mind with his speech. “You can’t be able to protect more people just by yourself and your men are so weak. My men are killed your men while they tried to stop them from checking on your mother’s family and just right now my man aiming a gun straight on Izumi’s head and waiting to take the shot. What do you say Megumi?”

   Megumi was shocked and feared at that moment and soon he took his mobile from his pocket and calls Yuno and ask about the people he sent to kill Sasori’s people and he get to know that his men are died and also Sasori shows the photo of Izumi being in room and playing the game. It was sent by the assassin who aiming the shot on Izumi. “Choose wisely Megumi, what was your answer?”

   “If I want, I can be able to order my men to kill everyone you care about including the girl you are loving. Her name is what… Yeah Miyuki. Yes, I will Miyuki too. Choose whether you die, or you let them to die”. Megumi was freaked out in mind and he started to sweat more than normal, by watching him suffer Sasori was enjoying the moment and smiling like a small boy who enjoys to watch which he wanted to see most.

   Then Megumi kneels in front of Sasori and accepts his fate and letting him to kill. “You can kill me and finish it, don’t do anything to others. Just let them go Sasori, all you wanted is to see me in this state, right? Now I am being as a pathetic person and kneeling down in front you and asking to let everyone”. Sasori face gets so bright just by looking at Megumi’s pathetic face and he started laugh more than normal aloud.

   Sasori gets a gun from his men and aims straight to Megumi head and asked him count number from five on descending. And just like he said Megumi also counting the number and closes his eyes and thinking about his brother, mother and his little sister. I am sorry Kaguya your brother is going to miss your game play but don’t worry you will be alright, and Izumi will get there and watch on behalf my place.

   And then he thinks about Miyuki, her voice, her eyes and her smile everything gets in front of Megumi clearly and at that moment he found out that Miyuki was really the closest person he has and she was really different from everyone he has as friend but still he can’t able to understand that it was the feeling of love. At last Megumi started to feel peace in his mind and being ready to die. Even in that time Megumi doesn’t think about his father and not forgiven him.

   Sasori beaten him with the gun on his head and said him to open his eyes so he can be able to see the dying moment. And Megumi also opens and sees Sasori at that time everything is changed. Soon Sasori strikes on his face and shoots on his left hand. All I wanted is to see the attitude person till the end and die like an idiotic failure but your face it tells different to me and emits different attitude from you and I don’t like it”.

   “I want to make you suffer more and more, make you feel sad and make you die on your own hands. If I kill you then you would be died peacefully, I don’t want it. I just made a mistake I should gave you this option I never thought you would accept so easily, its not like a Megumi I know you changed and this change totally making me puke.    Megumi just watching at Sasori because he doesn’t know what was happened to him, all the sudden he started to talk about the character and attitude. “See Megumi I letting you go but it doesn’t mean I am letting you alive peacefully. From now I am going to target not just Izumi but also your younger sister Kaguya, your second younger brother Ishinami, then your recent close person Miss Miyuki the daughter of great reporter Kazuma. I am going to kill everyone of them before I going to get to you”.

   After saying it Sasori gets inside his helicopter and started to move away from that place. Megumi was tired, and he can’t be able to drive with wounded hand. And the pain also was immeasurable but Megumi bearing it so tough and leaned on his car. And he just lost his consciousness and closed his eyes. The time was passed after some hours slowly Megumi opens his eyes and watches around and finds out that he was being in bed, but it was not his house.

   He checks on his left hand for wound and it was treated, with confused mind slowly Megumi gets out from the bed and opens the door. He saw June was there and watching shows. “Where am I, June?” June was happy to see his boss was now ok and talking to her. After Megumi lost his conscious he was leaned on his car and being still. At that time June called him on mobile and he was not picked up.

   Then by the vibration the mobile was fallen from his hand and by smashing the ground the call was attended. June was saying hello, but she didn’t get any respond so soon she checked the location of Megumi and reached the place. Then she finds out that he was wounded and lost his consciousness. So, she carried him and drives the car towards her house and contacted the doctor. After he treated and said to her to let him rest for some hours.

   June explained everything to Megumi, and she asked, “What happened to you, boss? And what was the story about the bullet you had on your left hand?” Megumi didn’t want her to know about it so without any choice he said a lie to her. “Some thieves shot at me and tried to take my money and car, but I chased them out”. And he sees the time and shocked because it’s already 9:30 Megumi going to miss to watch Kaguya’s match.

   “June I need your help here, I can’t drive so I need you to drop me on the place I says and get back to office and manage my absence” Megumi asked to her, June said ok to him but she was confused and wanted to know the reason. “Where are you going boss?” And Megumi replied “I am going to watch the volleyball tournament game. We don’t have time to chat so get ready June”.

   After June gets Megumi and drives so fast while Megumi tells her the directions towards the stadium. Megumi was worrying about what if Izumi gets there soon and someone kidnaps him or tries to kill him. And if something happens to Kaguya. He wanted to see the game play of his sister and he didn’t want to miss the first match of her and hurt her feelings.

   In the stadium Kaguya dashes someone and turns back to say sorry to her but after seeing her face she remembers and found out that she was in the picture with Megumi and Izumi at the beach house trip. “Are you friend of my Megumi brother, right?” Kaguya asked to her but she denied it. Which made littler mad to Kaguya, but the near girl says yes to Kaguya and by seeing her face she fallen for her beauty.

   “Yes, we both know Megumi and I think you’re his younger sister. I am Miyuki and she was Kayle” Miyuki introduced herself and Kayle to Kaguya. Kaguya happy to see them both and she started to think that if they both presents then sure Megumi and Izumi also came there. But the truth is Megumi just now traveling in highway to get there and Izumi was waiting at home for his brother.
