CHAPTER: 2 The Test

This is really looking bad; these guys are looking like zombies while working. No one was showing happiness while drawing the model. Miyuki was looking around the place and feels strange.

   At that time Izumi came near to her and asked “Why are you looking dull and stopped drawing?”

   When he came close to her suddenly Miyuki shocked and stepped back little and she dropped the pencil down. Izumi gets down and took up the pencil for her.

   “Don’t be afraid of me, I am not a ghost just a selector” While saying it Izumi gave back her pencil. Miyuki got back and started to answer to him.

   “Nothing sir, I just thought that no one here being happy for doing their work”

   Izumi looked surprised at Miyuki and saw her drawing on board some second, then moved away from there. Miyuki was confused by his actions and later started to continue her drawing.

   I just said what I thought but why did he stare me and my drawing like that and also moved away without saying anything. Anyways I need to finish this drawing within time.

   All of them being pressure by the time limit and feels that time were running fast but Kayle was being so cool and happy while drawing the character model in system.

   One of the selector came near to her and watching the drawing. Kayle started to feel shy and stopped drawing the character. The selector waited for her to continue the drawing but she was being silent and doing nothing.

   “Why are you stopped? You doing well until now”

   “Yes sir, but I can’t able to do any work when someone watches me from behind or aside”

   “What? Are you joking here?”

   “No sir, I am telling the truth. If you don’t mind can you watch others drawing. I have to finish this within the time limit”

   The selector glared at her and moved from that place. Then Kayle started to continue her work with the same smile on her face again. The time was out and the task is finished.

   Selector gets to the stage and started to speak. Everyone came back and seated on the chairs. All of them have fear on their face even Miyuki feels fear about the result but Kayle is the only one being confident in the hall.

   “Hey, are you really being confident or just acting like this?”

   “Miyuki, you know about me. I really don’t feel fear because I believe in my drawing”

   Miyuki was impressed by her saying and she also started feel hope on her work and waiting for the result.

   And some minutes later one of the senior started to say the names that are selected in the test. Kayle and Miyuki waiting for their names and the list were finished. But selectors didn’t said Miyuki and Kayle’s name on the list.

   They was shocked and don’t know how to react to it. So both of them just sitting on the chair and being silent. Then Izumi got mic and started to speak.

   “I selected two people for my department. I am gaming development department head and I too need some character design. So Miyuki and Kayle are selected to my department from this test”

   When he said it they both were shocked and looked at him. Kayle was so happy and went near to him to say thanks. Kayle handshakes with Izumi and at that time her heart started to pound so fast and she can’t able to control her smile.

   Then Izumi moved out from that place and everyone started to go down to collect their selection form. Kayle was just standing there and day dreaming about Izumi with her as boyfriend.

   Miyuki looking at her but she was still standing like a statue so she knocked her head little hard. Kayle can’t able to bear the pain and shouted little aloud.

   “Awwuu… Why did you do it, Miyuki?”

   “We have to get the form then start to do procedure for joining. But you are day dreaming about him”

   “No I am not. I am not dreaming about him” Kayle says with shy and her face turns light red.

   Then they both came out from the hall and going down to get the form. While going Kayle was thinking about Izumi and Miyuki was just remembering her past life incident.

   Past life Memory

   Miyuki was drawing a picture of tree and birds in the park. Some small children playing here and there with large smile and laugh on their face but Miyuki were the only one was crying.

   At that time a student came near and gave a handkerchief to Miyuki. With the crying she can’t able to see him clearly but she got kerchief. After wiping her face saw around to see him but the student was not there.

   Where did he go off? I never thanked him formally. And Kayle came to meet her on park and sat near to her.

   She stopped thinking about it.

   The elevator was came to down floor and opened then they both went to receptionist and asked about the form about selection. She checked her data with their names but it was not registered.

   “Sorry mam, both names are not registered in here. I think you are failed to select to vacancy. Don’t worry you can try at next with best”

   “No Izumi said that he was going to select us for his gaming department. Can you check about it? Miyuki don’t be quiet just tell her”

   “Yes, we didn’t selected in the designer job, Izumi said he was going to appoint us in his department”

   Then after some seconds the receptionist made call to his cabin to verify whether they both speaking truth or not.

   At that time Kayle dragged some distance from the receptionist and talked quietly.

   “Is she calling to him because she thinking that we are lying? Do we look like cheating person to her?”

   “Just leave it, Kayle. it’s her job to verify. We have to think about other’s situation also. So let’s just wait”

   On the call she asked to her boss Izumi to check that Kayle and Miyuki saying truth or not.

   “Sir, here two ladies saying that you selected them for you department. Is that true?”

   “Yeah, send them to my cabin. I am waiting for them. Send them soon”

   “Yes sir”

  Then she cuts the call and said to Kayle and Miyuki to go and meet Izumi on his cabin.

   “Go straight and get inside fourth floor. It’s the gaming department and there you can find Izumi’s cabin”

   “Thank you Mam”

   Miyuki and Kayle were gets into the elevator and pushed the button on fourth the after the elevator started to moving Kayle started to talk.

   “Why did he want to meet us?”

   “I think some procedures can be left out so maybe he was calling out us to his cabin to finish it”

   “I don’t think so, he maybe fall in love with me at first sight. This is really a golden opportunity for me for dating a millionaire”

   And Kayle was gets out her makeup kit out and started to do some facial and applies some cream to be more beautiful.

   “I really don’t trust these rich people. They just use other people like us to achieve their goal and throw us like a tissue paper”

   “Just forgot everything about past Miyuki. Not everyone will be like him. And also I think Izumi will be not like that person who made you cry”

   And there came to fourth floor and started to walk into the gaming department. Miyuki and Kayle were amazed to watch the staff and environment. People are being happy and enjoying to work and the surrounding feels good.

   Just by entering in there Miyuki and Kayle can feel the enjoyment the staff on their work. At that time Miyuki thinks the test on hall and other persons at ground floor.

   She gets to know that in this company two departments have two different people in it. At the gaming department everyone being happy and enjoy the work with joyous face.

   And on the merchandise department even the selection candidate were being depressed and just minding their business without enjoyment. They more like a robot for their work.

   Then Miyuki and Kayle enter to Izumi’s cabin and asked permission to enter.

   “Sir, may we enter” Kayle asked with smile on her face.

   “Yes both can enter to my cabin”

   Miyuki and Kayle enter in cabin and surprised by watching Izumi. He was playing a game on corner of his cabin with two staff members.

   While seeing it Kayle was being so happy and she can’t able to control her smile. It’s like being in dream for her.

   Then Izumi came near to them and started to ask some questions.

   “I really liked the joke when you entered. And do you both know why I selected to my department?”

   “We don’t know sir but I am sure we will do our best at our work”

   Miyuki was saying it so passionate and Kayle was showing surprise face at her.

   “Miyuki right, don’t be so formal here because in this department I treat everyone as friend and I help them to so cut out that”

   “Thanks Izumi” Kayle said with shy face at him. Izumi looked at her and smiled back.

   “You both are good at your work and also has positive mind and does what you want. But in my brother’s department you two may be unfit by having this kind of mind”

   When he said it Miyuki was surprised and felt that I was right, I really felt like them while participating with others.

   “You see, even if you both select on that department you both lose minds or even lose hope to draw again. I liked your work and only you both smiled at test so I selected both here and this place is really suitable for both of you”

   “Thank you sir” Miyuki and Kayle said in chorus.

   “Just enjoy your work. And meet Barry, he will explain everything in and out of this department. And start your work tomorrow”

   Then Kayle and Miyuki went out of the cabin by saying thanks to Izumi.
