Chasen Aclen was sitting before me.
I didn’t even know how I responded to his call. The exhaustion from my body felt heavy now, as I gazed over his eyes. I remembered choosing this place because of the distance it had from the school, as it would effectively cut anyone from ever knowing that I work here. It wasn’t like I was ashamed of my job, but I do not want people finding me here.
“I didn’t know you work here,” his words does not seemed too confronting, nor in a way that seemed to see me as something less. His expression didn’t even shade a tad darker. Chasen still expressed the same fascination for me as he did before. His dimple shows, eyes shining brightly. “You look good, Vien.”
