“How did it go?”
Mxen looked indifferent. While I did hope that she would take the change to make herself happy, I did expect this reaction from her. I have been with her for years now, and she is not one to easily bend to how fate hands her. Mxen had seen the result if she had followed her own happiness—her family had already made her see. While it was sad to think that this is how she was living her life, she could hardly control it.
Mxen is damaged and easily traumatized by what her family made her experience.
