Chapter 6: Recruitment

Roman

I watched Aidan and Addison talk it out, I smiled because I was going to blackmail her to get on board with my coup. Now that she has lost the man she loves, she will be more inclined to join me after all and end Aidan and the others. She sensed me and turned around to see me staring at her beautiful body as she dressed quickly as much as I wanted to be between her legs, I had more important matters, so not today. I walked over to her as she stared at me and said, "Don't worry, I won't harm you but I have a proposition." She looked at me disgusted and said, "I don't want anything from you, my lord, can I leave?" I grabbed her throat and squeezed but she knocked me back with her little power, I smiled saying, "Listen to me you low-level b***h, you will help me take over the crown or I will kill Aidan and the others," and she opened her eyes and asked, "What do you mean?" I told her, "I will kill you, Aidan, Ty, Drax, and even Lora if you do not help me," and she said, "I will never betray Adian," I linked one of my subjects to come out and told him, "Go and kill Lady Ashlyn," and she said, "Wait, stop, what do I need to do?"

Addison listens to my plan and gets on board, Erik appears laughing and says, "You will weaken them on the night of the coronation, so we can imprison them and banish them from the Kingdom." She said, "Aidan will never..," and I cut her off, "I know, that's where you come in unless you want me to kill them instead," and she agreed. I was heading back to my quarters knowing my plan was in place, I didn't have much time as the Blood Moon was approaching and so was the coronation. I saw Lily in the garden with her friend Danielle and I stopped admiring her beauty, I was in love with her and the moon goddess gave her to Aidan but she will be mine in the end. Lily was having a laugh with her friend and she had the most beautiful smile, I could just imagine her smile for me when I had her. I could see myself making love to that body, the coronation couldn't come soon enough, I wanted her badly and will have her in my bed eventually, my future Queen and mother of my children.

She mind-linked me, "My lord, is there something wrong that you followed me here?" I smiled and walked over to her and said, "You are so beautiful," making her blush but I sensed her uneasiness, I said, "Don't worry this is just an admirer." I walked with her talking about the upcoming wedding and coronation and she told me she was nervous but she loved Aidan and will stand by his side, I cornered her and said, "I love you too, Lily and I know its too late to be with you but I can't help how I feel," before I kissed her pulling her into my arms, she was shocked and I took advantage forcing my tongue in her mouth before she pushes me away and said, "My lord, what are you doing?" She looked at me disappointed and ran off before I grabbed her hand and said, "I'm sorry, don't tell Aidan, he won't understand and he won't be with you, he hates betrayal," and she pulled away before running off. I said, "f**k," to myself and take my hand and run it through my hair knowing I just f****d up, hopefully, she doesn't tell Aidan.

Erik

I was heading back to get things ready for the meeting that we will be having later at our meeting place, Addison was onboard now and we had a witch who was competent to help. She was not a strong witch, just a few small spells and potions but she could get the job done. If only we could find the Witch Queen's daughter, she would be strong enough to kill them without all this plotting but we can settle for what we have. Although there was a rumor that the Queen's daughter gave up her powers to be with her mate, because he wasn't what the Witch Queen wanted for her daughter making her choose, she chose love, which was foolish if you ask me. All our allies will be at the meeting but we needed Ryker's pack to really pull this off and hopefully, he will join us.

His pack is the biggest and it is part of the Royal Pack because of the treaty and loyalty, they only answer to Ryker, who only answers to Aidan, so getting him to flip will take proper planning and manipulation. I reached our meeting spot and we had a very productive meeting, we will be meeting one last time before the coronation in about a week and then we will have everything at our fingertips. I needed this to happen so I could do as I please, Roman wouldn't care as long as I was a loyal servant, and I will be, but I needed only one thing from him and that was my future feisty mate. I am going to have fun breaking into that one, she will bend and submit to me even if I have to beat it out of her.

I ran into an omega washing clothes by the lake on my way back and she looked innocent enough that I stop to get a taste, I haven't had my d**k wet in ages because I wanted only Addison, no one will satisfy me but her, but now, this omega reminded me of her and she will have to do. I grabbed her from behind and said to her, "Do not scream or I will kill you," and dragged her to the forest nearby and I had my way with her. She was a young one and a virgin too, I told her to keep her mouth shut as I put my clothes back on. She was crying and I told her, "I know who you are, and if you mentioned what happened here, I will kill you and your whole family," before I got back on my horse and headed down to the Palace.

Addison

I have reached the Elders and they are creepy wolves, but I have a job to do to save my family. I hate that I am betraying Aidan because I love him, and I have always loved him, but not like I love my mate. Aidan didn't know that I had found my mate as they are friends and I would never come between them, but he is King and only he can release me from his ladies in waiting. My mate rejected me when he realized I was one of the King’s ladies and it hurt, but I guess he had no choice. I don't think I ever will accept his rejection and I barely run into him since that night of rejection, maybe he was avoiding me, and my wolf, Ella, hasn't spoken to me since then. I was in this too deep and If I am caught, I will be executed for treason. “Addy,” Amon said, “Are you ready for the blood moon?” I nodded and stated I had everything I needed for the spell, I left the Elders and returned to my chambers. I was determined to save Aidan’s life and my mate's life, even though he rejected me, I still couldn’t see him die. I still have a week to find a way to save them and I will, they thought I was stupid and believed they wanted to imprison them, my gut instinct told me, they would kill them and that is why I will save them.

A Few Days Later

The Dream/Moon Goddess

"Addison, I have a task for you to do, I shouldn't be interfering but fate leaves me no choice, they will die no matter what you do. There is a spell I need you to do that will save them, you must get these particular ingredients before the blood moon, I need them to already have the spell placed on them to be what I want them to be and fulfill their destiny. I can't give any more information at this time but I leave my first ingredient next to you and a power boost to activate the spell once you place it."

I jumped out of my sleep and I was sweating, I never dreamed before but maybe it was a vision and I knew what I needed to do. I turned to my left and saw a small bottle of blood, I knew it was the blood of the goddess and a list of where I needed to go to collect my ingredients. I left the Palace without informing anyone if I was to save the people that I love, including my mate although he hates me. I took my small ingredients bag changed into my wolf and headed toward Faeora, it was closer to us and I could reach there in half a day at full speed in wolf form, I would be back I estimated in about a day or two before the coronation to get the spell right. I met up with Cayden by the border and he stopped me and said, "I know, Addison," he had tears in his eyes because he couldn't interfere and I took his blood, and fairy dust, he let me through his territory informing everyone to let me pass, it was easier to reach Elvira on the other side of the mountain.

I reached Elvira by sundown and I was tired, King Emile looked at me sitting by the entrance to his territory, he had his younger brother with him. Jared was hurting because Drax was one of his very good friends, he gave me the elvish root, which is rare, and Emile's blood before he opened a portal saying, "King Silas will let you rest for the night, and then Dominic will take you to Vampora where Elijah awaits you." I was grateful and upon reaching Ironside, he was right, Silas showed me to my room. King Silas and Ivar never saw eye to eye but they kept neutral on most things, he said, "I don't know what is going on but I was told to give you the silver dust that is unique to the land along with my blood," he did not disappoint and handed over the items. In the morning, I ate, refreshed, and thanked him for helping me, Dominic opened a portal by the silver tree in the middle of the court and I walked through.

Dominic was friendly and was an old friend of Aidan, he wanted to burn the Kingdom down with Roman, but he knew he couldn't interfere and hoped that I succeeded in what I needed to do to save them. He helped me reach Vampora and Elijah was not happy, he was willing to go to war with and fight Roman and his lackeys but after the orders from the moon goddess herself, he gave me what I needed and showed me the easiest way back to my territory with escorts from his guards in case I run into rogues, I needed to reach there safely to save everyone and he knew this. The others knew there was a possibility that Aidan would think they betrayed him but they were hoping he didn't and understood this was fate. Whether it happened now or down the road, it was their destiny and I have to believe that so I can live with myself for hurting them going forward. I reached back to my land about two and a half days before the coronation and used my mother's blood as she was the stronger link to my grandmother getting what I needed from my grandmother. I hadn't been missed for the past three days and it was a good thing, although Erik lurked in the shadows watching my every move.
