“They are so dead!” I growled and was about to charge at my annoying best friend when Skylar caught my arm and pulled me back.
“Don’t!” she said, and I looked at her, wishing to tell her that no one would be pouring water over my mate and staying alive after ruining our perfect moment together. But when I saw her wet hair and bright eyes piercing through me, I froze. She bit her lip trying to hold back a laugh and I almost lost it, grinning at her like an i***t.
A little giggle escaped her after all, and I couldn’t help myself either – we both burst out laughing hysterically looking at how water dripped down from us to the ground.
