******Narrator P.O.V.***** Brazen and several of the men from the club were watching the news in shock. News Reporter Speaking: According to law enforcement, fourteen men were found dead at the home of Mr. Edwin Cruz. Mr. Cruz's body has not been found, but multiple men believed to be employed under him were found dead. His wife was found dead in bed, likely waiting for her husband to return. They each received one bullet straight to the head. This was personal. The bodies had begun to decompose and were thought to have been shot almost a week ago. Mr.Cruz was rumored to have ties to gangs and illegal activities. We will update you with more information as it becomes available. Brazen, you know who did that, right? Shorty said, shaking his head while he continued to watch the news. "He hasn't been gone long. It's only been about six weeks since he left. He was here for at least a month and still wasn't fully healed when he left. Brazen told Shorty shaking his head. There was no one else it could be, and Sisquo always shot to kill—one bullet without hesitation. "We should have killed him when we had the chance," Dog screamed, slamming his fist on the table. "He damn near killed me and was allowed to return to his life to become the person we thought we had eliminated. He was an exterminator, and he had no heart. Men like him don't change; he probably returned to take Cruz's spot. Mark my words. He's not done with us either." The dog screamed, standing up and throwing his chair back as he limped away. He was still going through physical therapy, but his left leg and arm still gave him trouble. He was mad when he found out Sisquo had left. He wanted revenge against him. He may never be able to ride a bike again with his nerve damage. The brothers tried to vote him out, but I begged them to let him stay, but he had to earn his spot. He is to be treated like a newbie or a runt, as we call them, as soon as he has healed well enough to take on the duties. We felt like Sisquo aided us, and while none of the brothers wanted him to stay to heal, we are men of our word and let him stay, fed and clothed him, and released him when he was ready to go. Flash Back When Sisquo left "I can't believe you let that man leave Brazen, and he almost killed me. I am not just your club brother, we are blood, and this is foul, man! " Dog yelled at me from his bed. Kicking and punching the bed like he's a toddler. Your right. Sisquo almost killed you, and you almost killed Tech, your brother's boyfriend. You hurt your blood brother because you were too blind to see they were happy, and it's their choice to love each other it has nothing to do with you. "How many times do I have to apologize for that, Brazen," he asked me through gritted teeth. " How often do I have to answer you about us letting Sisquo go?" I asked him through gritted teeth, annoyed we had to keep having the same conversation repeatedly. Dog was as stubborn as our Dad, who was also named Dog. Boston gave him the name because he was so much like him. "I won't ask again," he yelled and rolled over, facing the wall. " Good! When your tantrum is over, you can join the rest of the men." I said, slamming the door. His need to whine constantly drives me crazy, I said to no one in particular. Present Time Brazen's P.O.V. I walked toward the bar area, and Boston approached me. " Do you think he will come back for his sister? "I can never be 100% sure, but the fact that he left her here makes me think he won't," I said, shrugging my shoulders. "There is not much we can do about these murders. Sisquo probably did the police and F.B.I. a favor. It doesn't affect us". I said, sighing; these people have just created a lot of extra stress in my life. I know Symphony is going to be extra worried about her as well now. I hadn't told anyone that Maria and Sisquo had argued before they left. Symphony mentioned it to me after Sisquo was gone. They were in an area with audio hooked up to the camera. Only a few of our cameras have audio. It's on a need-to-know basis, so they didn't know they were being recorded. I will have to tell Symphony about all of this now and Sledge so he can make sure he is cautious when they are alone. They seem to be getting closer, and Sledge has kept his word about taking things slow and not becoming intimate with her before she turns 18. He doesn't think she will be ready for that for a long time. Sledge says he allows her to initiate any contact other than holding hands. So many things trigger her that it's easier that way. If he does initiate it, he asks for permission. He keeps telling everyone he is just taking it slow, but it's evident he's in love with her. Our men pride themselves on being respectful to our women, so I have been proud of him. He hasn't technically "claimed her" in the traditional sense. We let the men know though she is 100 % off-limits. Sledge said men had been claiming her without her consent and would wait until the time was right. However, Symphony says she would pity a woman who tried to lay hands on Sledge because Maria sometimes seems jealous, and who knows what she would do. However, she doesn't feel like Sledge notices other women looking at him and is glad it is not something we've had to deal with. Symphony and Nikki have begun planning her birthday bash. Symphony realized she never got a quinceanera because she was being held hostage by Cruz then. So I am interested to see how quinceaneras and motorcycle clubs go together. It will be great because Symphony has an eye for detail. Over the last month, she planned a couple of brunches for the women, and they all showed up, making the men happy. Barb has been showing up whenever Boston is here, and no one likes to associate with her, but we don't say anything because we don't want to lose him. Symphony said she wasn't giving even a hint of her plans for Maria's birthday party to Barb because she would kill her if she messed it up.
