Alex's POV
Emilia's pain and her screams were tearing me apart, and there was nothing I could do because she didn't want me to help her or get near her anyway.
"Stubborn Emilia!" Liam cursed, pacing around our living room. I know that the sound of her pain was hurting him as well.
"She can't go on like this." Brian was just as disheveled. Max was not here because he was unmated.
"She's punishing me, and she has every right to." I said guiltily. I should have come home sooner, but I just kept delaying the inevitable, and I was selfish not to think about her and Renee.
"I know you're the Alpha and all, but you really did her dirty, and she doesn't deserve it." Brian said to me sternly. He is the type of person who gives it to you how it is.
"I know, but I just needed some time." I know
