Emilia's POV
Liam and Max were really sad to see us go, but I needed to leave that place as soon as possible. It has only brought misfortune and happiness into my life, and I'm done with that.
I hated the pity and sympathy that I saw in my brother's eyes, though, because I knew that they were hurting as much as I was. They would put their pain aside just to accommodate me, and it was not okay with them.
l slept through the journey because we were traveling by car again instead of running in our wolves, but Alex woke me up.
"Someone is coming after us."
I looked around, but I couldn't see anybody, just trees and the royal pack cars, which had some warriors protecting us.
