I quickly rinsed my face and got out of the bathroom. That night I slept in Reylee’s room, wrapped in her smell, the only thing that could calm me down after what happened the night before. As soon as I opened my eyes I sent a mental message to my Gamma, telling him to warn the new Beta that I needed to talk urgently with Alpha Josh.
I left Reylee’s room and I quickly walked down the stairs to the ground floor where the alpha’s office was. Devon waited diligently for me at the end of the stairs, his face still tired since it was only dawn and I had made him wake up with my voice in his head, not the best awakening for sure.
