Roderic places his cup of coffee on the table and leans forward.
"I see someone told you about it. But who ever told you never did so with accuracy. Only three children disappeared in the space of three years."
"Oh? And you have no idea who got them?"
He shakes his head. "Not for luck of trying, though. I have tried talking to Beta Alex about it but he always shuts me up, saying he doesn't want to offend the spirit of my father," he rolls his eyes. "I can't wait to officially become the Alpha after my birthday. There is a lot of things I need to work on. That's why I need a Luna that is strong and intelligent beside me."
