The Playboy CEO
Jake lay in the huge bed of the hotel suite, the silk sheets tangled around him and Andrea. The room, bathed in the warm, golden light of the early morning sun, was luxurious, but Jake’s focus was elsewhere. The moans of pleasure and the soft rustle of sheets were the only sounds that filled the room as the two reached the height of their climax. “I'm going to come,” Jake gasped, his voice copious with the intensity of the moment. Andrea, her body pressed close to his, responded with a breathless moan. “Me too. I’m so close. I’m cumming too!” Moments later, Jake’s breath slowed, and he pulled away, standing beside the bed. He grabbed a towel from a nearby chair and began to dry off. Andrea, still lying on the bed, looked up at him with a mix of expectation and disappointment. “Are you heading to the shower?” she asked, her voice soft. Jake gave a brief nod, not meeting her eyes. “Yeah, I need to freshen up.” Andrea shifted in the bed, her eyes following him as he moved towards the bathroom. “Mind if I join you?” Jake glanced back at her, his expression unreadable. “I’d rather you stayed here. I just want to get cleaned up and then I have to get going.” Andrea’s face fell slightly, but she nodded, understanding his need for privacy. As Jake disappeared into the bathroom, she sat up and wrapped the sheets around her, her mind racing with thoughts of their brief encounter. From the shower, Jake could hear Andrea’s question as she spoke to herself, more than to him. “When will we meet again?” Jake sighed, the sound of running water masking his response. He didn’t really need to answer. His pattern was clear: after a night like this, he moved on. He had never been one to repeat these encounters. For Jake, it was about the thrill of the chase, not about building lasting relationships. His reputation as a notorious playboy was well-earned, and he had no intention of settling down, despite being twenty-five and the CEO of Lewis Group of Companies. Andrea’s thoughts were not just about the future meetings but also the current situation. She was disappointed that Jake had used a condom, which meant she wouldn’t have the opportunity to use a potential pregnancy to bind him to her. She had hoped for more, but she knew Jake’s pattern all too well. As Jake finished his shower, he quickly dried off and began to dress in his tailored suit. Just as he was adjusting his tie, there was a knock on the door. His personal assistant, Anthony, stood on the other side. Anthony’s usual calm appearance was replaced with an expression of concern. “Anthony,” Jake said, opening the door. “What’s wrong?” Anthony stepped into the room, his face tight with worry. “Sir Jake, I need to talk to you. It’s about your father.” Jake’s heart sank at the serious tone in Anthony’s voice. “What’s happened?” Anthony took a deep breath, trying to steady his voice. “I just got a call from the house staff. Your father, Sir Kurt, has been rushed to the hospital. He’s unconscious.” Jake’s face went pale. “U-Unconscious? What do you mean? What’s going on?” Anthony looked down, visibly distressed. “I don’t have all the details, but they said it’s serious. We need to get to the hospital right away.” Jake felt a surge of panic. He quickly glanced at Andrea, who had emerged from the bathroom, wrapped in a towel. Her face showed confusion and concern. “Jake, what’s happening?” Andrea asked, her voice trembling. Jake barely registered her presence. He was already moving towards the door, his mind focused on his father. “Andrea. I have to go.” Without waiting for a response, Jake hurried out of the room, followed closely by Anthony. They made their way to the hotel’s lobby, and Jake’s anxiety grew with each passing second. He knew his father was in serious trouble, and he couldn’t shake the feeling of dread that was gripping him. Anthony led the way to the car, and they quickly got inside. The drive to the hospital was tense, the streets seeming to stretch endlessly before them. Jake’s mind raced through a thousand thoughts, but he forced himself to focus on getting to his father as soon as possible. Once they arrived at the hospital, Anthony guided Jake through the busy corridors. They finally reached the ICU, where Leonor, Jake’s mother, was waiting. Her face was streaked with tears, her eyes red and swollen. “Mom,” Jake said, rushing to her side. “What’s going on? Where’s Dad?” Leonor looked up at him, her expression a mix of despair and relief. “Jake, thank God you’re here. The doctors are with Kurt right now. They’re trying to stabilize him.” Jake could barely contain his anxiety. “What happened to him?” Leonor took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. “They haven’t given me many details, but they said it’s serious. I’ve been waiting for news.” Just then, the doctor who had been treating Kurt approached them. His face was serious, and Jake felt a cold wave of dread wash over him. “Mrs. Lewis,” the doctor began, his tone gentle but firm. “I’m afraid I need to speak with you about Mr. Kurt Lewis’s condition.” Leonor nodded, her heart pounding. “Yes, Doctor. Please, tell us.” The doctor glanced at both of them, his eyes filled with compassion. “After reviewing Mr. Lewis’s tests and scans, we’ve determined that he has Stage Four brain cancer.” The words hit Jake like a sledgehammer. He stared at the doctor, struggling to process what he had just heard. “C-Caner? S-Stage Four? How long does he have?” The doctor took another deep breath, his expression unchanging. “Based on the progression of the cancer and his current condition, we estimate that Mr. Lewis has about three months left. This is an estimate, and it could vary depending on how he responds to palliative care.” Leonor’s knees seemed to buckle, and she clutched at Jake’s arm for support. Her tears flowed freely now, her sobs barely contained. “Three months? How can this be happening?” Jake’s own emotions were a storm of confusion and sadness. He felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness. “Is there anything we can do? Any treatments or options?” The doctor shook his head slowly. “At this stage, treatment options are very limited. Our primary focus will be on providing comfort and managing pain. We’ll do everything we can to make Mr. Lewis’s remaining time as comfortable as possible.” Jake took a deep breath, trying to keep his composure. “Thank you, Doctor. We appreciate your honesty. Can we see him now?” The doctor nodded. “Yes, you can. He’s still unconscious, but your presence may provide him with some comfort. I’ll take you to his room.” Jake and Leonor followed the doctor into the ICU, where Kurt lay in the bed, connected to various machines and IVs. The sight of him, so still and vulnerable, was almost too much for Jake to bear. Leonor approached the bedside, her hand gently resting on Kurt’s. “Honey, it’s me Leonor. We’re here with you.” Jake stood beside her, feeling a deep sense of loss. He reached out and touched his father’s arm, trying to offer some semblance of comfort. “Dad, its Jake. We’re here. Please hold on.” The minutes passed slowly as they stood by Kurt’s side, the reality of the situation sinking in with each passing moment. The beeping of the monitors and the soft hum of the hospital equipment were constant reminders of the gravity of their situation. As they prepared to leave the room, Jake looked at his mother, her face etched with worry and sadness. “We’ll get through this together, Mom. We have to be strong for Dad.” Leonor nodded, her tears still fresh but her resolve firm. “We will, Jake. We have to make the most of the time we have left.” Anthony, who had been waiting outside, approached them. “If there’s anything I can do to help, just let me know.” Jake looked at his loyal assistant, grateful for his support. “Thank you, Anthony. We might need your help with arrangements and any support we can get.”
