Bright-eyed and scared Amy was ushered into the poorly lit room and immediately she got on stage she was blinded by the lights. Shielding her eyes with her hands, she squinted into the darkness on the other side of the stage.
"Can you introduce yourself?" a voice spoke from the other side of the stage.
Removing her hands from her eyes Amy stood erect and maintained a good composure.
"My name is Amy, Amy Cheong," she said brightly fighting the urge to shield her eyes from the bright light.
"Amy Cheong; are you American?" a different voice spoke.
