It was a long night and then something told me that it would be a long day as well. Even though my human body was starting to doze off, my wolf, Adrian, was on high alert. A part of me told me that it had something to do with the red-headed female but things did not add up.
Adrian and I were equally perplexed for all the reasons unknown that made us draw towards her. She was wolfless, and certainly, Adrian could not find a connection with her. Yet, an invisible energy pulled him towards her.
“Just go off to sleep,” I told Adrian.
