Craig jolted awake. His heart beat loudly and painfully in his chest. For a moment dark despair choked him. Not again. He sat up, being careful not to disturb Alex. The torment was so much to bear he rubbed his chest where his heart beat. Craig had hoped meeting Alex, sharing with him, possibly developing something would make the demons go away.
