" hey Whyte, where have you been. " Bryan said as he flashed to where Whyte was standing.

"I have been busy. " Whyte said as he claps Bryan on the back after they hug. If he considers anybody his friend in this school it will be Bryan and his mate. They are among the most genuine arcanes he knows and they are not sycophants unlike Stacey and the rest of her g**g and to think that she has the hots for him, and thinks that he should be glad that she likes him. She is clearly deluded.

"I won't ask doing what cause I know it it is your business and yours alone but please don't cut it close to the game like this next time. " Bryan said while Whyte grinned.

" this is why I like you Ryan. " he chuckled as he grins at Bryan.

" don't call me that. " Bryan said with a frown. " only my mate get to call me that and get away with it and it is only because she is great in bed. "

" I know that, I just wanted to see your frown and how is she by the way."

" still amazing and she now have a pet project, a new girl who according to all our team mates is very hot. " Bryan shares with Whyte who look interested all of a sudden.

" really. You don't think she is hot. "

Whyte asks picking up on what was left unspoken by Bryan.

" she's okay. I am a mated man, the only person I think is hot is my mate and she isn't my mate, but the guys always try to strike up a conversation with her but she hide pretty well behind Chris and Josh has started to pursue her but I don't think he is her type though. " Bryan said while whyte nodded.

" you will tell me more after the practice. Others are already waiting. Where is Chris. " Whyte asks as he takes his position on the ice Part of the field.

" probably banging some chick to get over the rejection Crissy gave him again. " a team mate and friend of theirs said.

" really Nick why do you think that Josh is so shallow. " Jonas who is also another of their friends ask. He was the type of person who saw the good in everybody even when the bad is starting at him right in the face.

" because he is. " Whyte, Nick and Bryan answered together. The four of them form the beginning and best quarter of the team.

" I won't believe so. " Jonas said with a frown. Whyte and Nick sighed in defeat.

" well we tried. I think the only time that Jonas will believe us is if he catches Josh in bed with his sister. " Bryan said with a shrug.

" I don't have a sister. " Jonas said.

" that is why he made the statement." Nick informed him.

" okay, enough dicking around, let's play ball. " Whyte said as he close his eyes and envisioned a ball made of thick solid ice. Then Jonas added air to it before Nick encased it with earth and as Bryan wanted to set the ball on fire the door of the court was thrown open.

" let me go. " Crissy struggled.

" no now stop acting like a child and get in there. " Chris growled as Bryan annoyed expression for being disturbed smoothed into a confused one.

" no. " Crissy said in a childish manner.

" that's it I had enough. " Chris said in a calm voice, the next second Crissy screamed as she ran into the room as if fire was chasing her, which it actually was because Chris sent a bolt of flames after her but it disappeared as soon as she entered the room but Crissy didn't stop running until she hit ice. As soon as her leg hit the ice she fell and slides to the front of Bryan and his friends. "hey babe. " Chris said she entered the court and closed the doors behind her and then skated to her mate as she pecked his lips after he removed his helmet.

" what's going on. " Bryan asked with a confused tone as Whyte rolled his eyes. If it was someone else, Bryan would have chew the person out then throw the person out of the court then in lunch time the next day, he will warn the person never to interfere in practice again before asking what was wrong.

" Crissy here has come into her powers, she needs practice and I want us to join the practice today. " Chris explained with pleading eyes.

" I can't, really. It isn't my call alone. " Bryan said rubbing is neck.

" I know that Josh is not going to come and just let her replace him and I can replace the weakest link. " Chris said as looking at the group,silently begging. " I will tell her what to do. "

" fine. " Nick and Jonas said.

" Whyte. " Bryan called distracting him from staring at Crissy. There was something about her that intrigues him.

" yeah whatever. " Whyte said as Chris beams at him.

" longest time Whyte, where have you been? " Chris asks.

" in the castle. " Whyte answered absent minded. What was it about that girl that draws him in and he can't stop staring at her.

" OK. Let's play ball. " Bryan said when he noticed that Whyte looks fixated on Crissy.

" great" Chris said in a happy tone. " Crissy the game goes like this. See that ball. The point is that the ball remains flaming or icy while it in your team hand. I think your team color is blue so that's icy for you. Now when the ball isn't with you, try to take out the other team by attacking them with the elements. "

" okay. Now I see why the game is endearing to you. You love violence too much. What are the rules of the game. " Crissy asks as she looks around slowly getting use to the idea of game.

With grin that made Crissy hair to stand, Chris informed her friend " don't get too injured. "

" what. " Crissy panics.

" take your positions. " Whyte orders as they all starts playing.

After healing herself for the fifty time, Crissy got serious and Whyte laughs as his team mates did everything to avoid her like the plague and with her determination, the other team got very close to reaching their score when the game ended.

" damn it. " Crissy yells as she throws her helmet on the floor.

" I told you, you will love it " Chris gloated.

" next time, my team will win. " crissy vowed.

" great game. You will make an awesome player some day . " Whyte said as he shook hands with Crissy and when tingles erupted between them.

" what was that. " Crissy asks shocked but Whyte was already tearing his helmet off. Then he looked into her eyes.
