She could hear from far away, the cries of her beloved...
Her voice mingled with his screams asking them to stop; To let him go; To not hurt him...
But everything was useless...
Her tears streamed down her beautiful face freely, clearing away the dust that lay in the way... A sharp noise from the door caught his attention! She tried to get up, so she could speak to the person who might be on the other side but the chains that held her pulled her back to the ground.
She didn't give up! Her hope of perhaps being able to save her beloved was finally restored...
Once more, she began to fight against the chains that bound her... Now, the noises of the rusted metal are the one mixing to the cries of pain...
