Chapter Ten I paused, then said, “Uh . . . this is Ann. Who am I speaking with?” “Oh, hi Ann. It’s Abby.” “Hi there.” I was very confused about why Grayson wasn’t answering his phone and why Abby had suddenly stepped into that role. “Could I speak with Grayson?” “He can’t talk right now. He called in sick to the office this morning and so I decided to run by and check on him.
