Kaylene’s POV.
Sue and I closely looked at the door and but at each other. The silence that filled the room one could hear a pin drop.
Sue prepared herself to shift as I carried the gun which has silver bullets filled with wolfsbane. “Whose there?” I asked breaking the silence that had filled the room. I was looking at Sue to give me a sign that it was okay for me to open the door.
“Maritz! Am the man you met earlier when you were with your mother!” He said not sure what to say. I wanted to laugh after I heard that he thought Sue was my mother.
I looked at her waiting for her approval, “Coming!” I said going to open the door when Sue gave me a go-ahead. I went and opened the door slightly looking at him as I hid my gun.
“Sorry, how can I help?” I said to him not formally greeting
