At 11 pm, Lilly tossed and turned on the bed. The image of Stanley playing with Maisy in the amusement park kept replaying in her mind. Maisy was so happy. Thinking of this, Lilly felt a burst of sadness in her heart. She knew that Maisy had always wanted a father's love, but her daughter, afraid of upsetting her mother, had never mentioned this in front of her. Even if other children laughed at her for it, she bore it alone. Maisy's sensibility and good heart made Lilly blame herself even more. "Beep, beep, beep!"
