The silence in the area was loud. The servants around froze to watch the drama but they weren't surprised because they knew Axel loved Ezra and was only pretending to be with Jade for the media as they were told by Natalie.
But Jade was shell shocked to experience his behaviour that had suddenly escalated against her. All this while Axel didn't do much but observed because Ezra didn't know the purpose of their marriage, but now Axel had changed in her eyes.
And that baffled Jade since the moment he let go of her hand. Jade looked back and forth between Ezra and Axel, realising slowly what had gone. And the answer was.. her fears.
"H.. hey? What are you saying? Do you not remember our deal?" Jade choked out, realisation dawning in one by one and it created distraught in her mind
