"Axel.. is this woman..", Arthur said, pointing at Ezra with wide eyes. She frowned, confused at his reaction.
Her eyes shifted from Arthur to Axel and she saw him shake his head. It felt like Axel was hesitating but the way his dad was looking at her, she was sure he knew her. But she couldn't recognise him at all.
"Tell me.. why is she here? Isn't she the same woman-"
"Dad, stop!" Axel held up his hand, abruptly cutting him off. He looked down at her with a cold stare, as if he was fighting off a lot of feelings. But his anger was too transparent.
"Stop? I don't know what she's doing here, at our mansion.. and then you act like I'm the one creating a scene?" Arthur yelled out, raging at the mere sight of her. "Security!"
