Klayton growled as he glared at the pair of us.
Neither of us answered him which seemed to piss him off even further and when he spoke up again, I almost giggled because he sounded like a father shouting at his children.

I looked up at Carter and his face was filled with so many mixed emotions and my heart broke seeing my bright red handprint on his face.
